Most submissions have been of Spyderco's excellent knives, but I wanted to focus on one of the unique innovations that Spyderco pioneered. The pocket clip has greatly increased the utility and convenience of the modern folding knife, and I chose to highlight this in my submission. Sal Glesser said, "We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because it 'works' better, than the knife in your showcase, because it 'looks' better." The pocket clip enables Spyderco's wonderful knives to be in your pocket, easily accessible. Even after nearly every knife manufacturer has added a pocket clip to their folding knives, no one does it like Spyderco!

good luck to all
Your spyder snack image doesn't show up for me, on any computer. And I'm curious to see it...
Anyone else having trouble seeing this one?
Edit: Oh weird, it shows up in my quoted text, but not in the actual post...
Edit #2. Now it's gone again!
Edit #3. Now it's back! Anyway, very nice looking snack!
First time entering, so please forgive me if there's a glitch in this attempt. Here's my entry for the 2013 Calendar Contest:

Knives in Shot: This close-in photograph features the Centofante Memory atop the honey jigged bone damascus Delica, the Gayle Bradley, the Native 5, the Stretch (carbon fiber scales), the UK Pen Knife (titanium scales), the "R" Nishijin, and the Vallotton Sub-Hilt Folder (which is just barely visible in the shot as a reflection in the blade of the Stretch).
Why: I bought each of these knives because of the quality of their build, the beauty of their designs, and absolute functionality. With respect to the photograph,i shot it specifically for this contest. Given the relationship of Centofante to the Sypderco family and how great and memorable the Memory looks, I thought it made a good centerpiece for the shot. The close-cropped view also highlights the Spyderco brand and points to the quality of the detail work in the Memory.
It was raining when I dropped a feral pig and then processed it with my newly arrived South Fork. Rinsing the knife off, I laid it on a pile of wet glass that is stored beneath a flax bush and came up with this result.
This knife appealed to me from the moment I became aware of it, and now, in hand, it seems to fit and cut like nothing I've experienced. I'm keen to work it more. A 3 year old bull is soon to be my definitive comparative test.
i have taken some good pics of my sage but theyve all been edited and are too small.. im going to try and get some new ones and enter, hopefully being new here isnt against the rules of the contest.
hey guys- I've got a picture i want to submit but for the life of me I can't figure out how to both edit a picture in relation to DPI (only have PPI options), and I can't figure out how to get a picture uploaded on here. Im trying to use the manage attachment feature on the forum (I assume this is what you do since you can't link to a file host), however I can't do anything to the file after I select it from my hard drive. It says to drag it down but all it does is highlight the text. Im using mac os x. I'm really confused here; I have the image down to 150kb (edited the size to 11.5"x9" in Preview), but its still not working

Description: This picture was taken on top of west rattlesnake mountain in Holderness, NH. I took this picture before we went back down as the sun was setting.
I got this one a long time ago as a special gift. It must be close to ten years ago already. Now that we've got kids (two girls) there already fighting for it. I guess not many people know that Spyderco also made jewelry.
I love this model from first sight, when my best friend showed to me a picture of it. If its opened, it will remind me to a type of local knife (Laduk in Dayak language) where i live now, Borneo Island, this type have been served the Dayak for hundred years without no changes on the design. Few days after he showed me that pictures, he gave it to me. Its become my precious gift with mostly carried every single day. Take this picture when i did a river cruise with BBC team, found a root of tree which identical with Spyderco's hole.

The dragonfly is my favorite knife. Its the prefect knife for me because one moment I might need to use it during my job on my college campus and the next moment I might need it to handle any outdoor job, since I hike almost every day. And the carbon fiber dragonfly is my favorite of all dragonflies. The image is taken in my back yard with a tomato I picked from my Dad's garden.
(also the image is what the final cropped 11 x 8.5 would look like, I have the uncropped version saved.)

spyderco products pictured: Spyderco sage, spyderco ultrafine benchstone
reasoning behind the picture: this picture brings some class to the spyderco knives, the carbon fiber, and warm earth tone colors bring the luxury behind the knife. the warm brown wooden cabinetry in the back round, and the spyderco benchstone sheath bring the warm touch to every day carry, because not all of us are able to beat our knives in the woods sadly
