I've been buying them since MT-01 and haven't seen them released in multiple batches. However, the SFO uploads inventory to the web store manually in increments, so it's possible that more will show up online or that SFO could fill a phone order.

Welcome CLE, you know what the forum here is :)

I have 2 coming I believe on friday unless that UPS truck drives awful fast, and I ordered just a few minutes after they went on sale...lolol. Then again I'm close to the east coast. One is getting Halpern scales immediately and getting put to use. The type 4 earth brown scales with black screws are on the way. The other might get dressed up a little more and then put to use :D Plotting with scale maker in progress...lolol

A lot of enthusiasm for these damascened spyderco blades :D

Nice presentation and handle choice! I'd love to see that with a sheath that had stainless rivets, just to make things "pop" (I can't believe I used that term).

ps. both had a similar design (the wavey rolls __like above^ )and were filthy and razor sharp! and had a huge box w/ free shipping for such a large box :D :p

The numbers are assigned at the start of each model that will go into production rather than waiting until it is in production. Number 10 went unusually quickly.

There are Mule Teams 1-7, and also 10. Eight in total so far. Numbers 8 and 9 haven't been released yet.

There is definitely 8 of them. MT 10 came after 6, then 7 came after 10. I'm pretty sure they jumped from 6 to 10 because they were working on 7-10 simultaneously, but finished 10 first, so that was what they released next, instead of 7.

It's the exact same issue we've seen with model numbers being skipped. Sometimes a model gets delayed and sometimes a model gets to production faster than expected.

just got off the phone with Halpern Titanium, Inc. I ordered a set of option 3 scales in black, they are out of the limited edition run.

Wile I was talking to them I asked if they had were going to make scales out of any other materials (like canvas micarta?) and they said that there was some talk of doing a run in carbon fiber but said that they would need to charge around $100 for it and weren't sure if anyone would buy them for that price. I told them that if they made them in CF, I would buy a set.

If any of you are interested in a fine set of CF scales and are willing to pay the price, give Halpern a call and let them know there is enough demand to make it worth their while.
