Great shot Mac ! Last year a Great Horn Owl grabbed a Raccoon in backyard at night and wasn’t very tidy . Turkey Buzzard came in and cleaned up everything that was left . They soar over our house daily . Buck shot is a once in a lifetime picture !

A Blue Heron (we call them pond managers)

Once they perched on it facing each other.
To get a good angle the legs of the game camera tripod
are in the water on the edge of the small lake below my house.

A storm knocked over my game camera
and I was setting it back up to shoot the turtle log
when I noticed some waterfowl like I had never seen before
on the bird roost / fish nursery tree.
They watched me patiently
as I walked around the edge of the lake
taking pictures with my cell phone.
Their pink bills and legs were neon
in the early morning sun
as I set the game camera up on them.
iNaturalist Seek identified them as Black-Bellied Whistling-Ducks.
This is an iPhone 8 picture.
