Sheesh. That coupon got me too - VG10 Endura (brown) for $47. My first Endura, and I am looking forward to it.

Geez, you guys--$77 for a Ladybug Hawkbill Salt and a Dragonfly Salt. I have not been able to handle either though I have been looking. At that price though, I don't think I can lose.

Nice work! Interesting that their price apparently trended down as these sold out. (I got mine for $46.99)

I already went berserk and bought 3 new spydies in the last couple of weeks. Fortunately I already have most of the ones I want listed at unitedoutdoors... but some of the ones with lined through prices are really cheap. I didn't realize that the coupon maxed out at the $50 mark. That makes it a little easier to pass on them.... but I'm going back for another look :o
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

Also, not to enable even more, but... you can use the coupon twice per account.

Almost pulled the trigger on a Sage 2 last night using that eBay coupon but then recalled this would be the 4th one I would have bought. Sold the others for the same reason- they all went from 45 percent lockup to close to 85 percent in two weeks. Every time I looked at it all I could think of was will it ever stop. So, sold them all. But I love everything else about it and keep considering getting another. It's like a woman who keeps picking the bad boys or something.

So, I said , screw it and get the Techno. That is another I keep getting and selling, but can't get out of my system. Love everything about that knife but could never get them to be loose in the pivot without being off center.

Crap. Ended up with nothing. Hate passing up a coupon though.

I've never bought a Spyderco liner-lock so I can't speak to their performance. One of the reasons I stopped buying knives from one of my other favorite companies was their exclusive use of liner locks. And while it took a year or more usually, eventually I became dissatisfied by the lockup of most of them. I have had no issues since switching from brand 'x's liner locks to Spyderco's back locks and compression locks, and have never had a desire to go back to using liner locks, maybe you'd have better luck with a back lock or compression lock?
(Wouldn't you rather go out with a nice boy you could have long term relationship with for a change? Rather than those bad boys who keep breaking your heart after a few weeks? ;) )

^For what it's worth, the Sage 2 doesn't use a liner lock. It uses a Reeve Integral Lock.

Thanks for the heads up on the 20% off... Picked up an Endura 4 ZDP-189 for 73$ really hard to beat that deal.

Thanks for the heads-up! I don't like partially serrated edges and I'm not crazy about coated blades but something about a Delica in all black always looked sweet to me! It also seems like it's another great "bumming-around-the-house" kind of knife. I just couldn't resist for a little over 50 bucks. I mean...I had to get something...right??

Ugh! Code worked again for 3 more knives, all in one order. Had to get a few Salt knives...haven't tried H1 steel yet and really want to see what they're like. My buddy has a fishing boat that I'll be spending a lot of time on this summer...gotta find a way to justify my insanity :)
