As many of y’all know here on the forums vegetable gardening is one of my passions. This year has been a pretty good year for my tomatoes, so I thought I’d post a shot of a recent little harvest. I use many of my serrated Spyderco’s in the garden, but for this submission I wanted to showcase one of the best “little knives” Sal and Co. produce - the Ladybug. Fun fact - ladybugs are beneficial to your garden because they eat aphids and other tiny pests which can destroy a tomato plant. I release some of them every spring in my own garden to combat harmful pests.
There are some fantastic photos this year and the calendar is gonna be amazing. Good luck to all the participants!![]()

i humbly submit my customized 15v manix (C101GBN15V2) for consideration this year. this knife has been adorned with green micarta scales from bladescales and a brass ball cage from flytanium. the manix is my absolute favorite knife design of all time - a true masterpiece - and this version is pretty much my ultimate version. it also pairs nicely with a spyderedge pacific salt for an especially powerful combo.
this photo was taken in a slot canyon somewhere in utah while my family and i roadtripped over 6000 miles earlier this year. it was a wonderful adventure and this was my favorite photo from the trip.
thank you, spyderco, for continuing the tradition of a forum calendar contest. it really is fun to participate, and to get funny looks from people passing by while we try to get nice photos of our knives in public places.![]()

My good friend recently introduced me to spyderco knives. He recommended trying a para 3 lightweight first because of the lock and ergonomics. I am officially a fan of spyderco knives. I took this picture while hiking with the fam in the mountains. Found this cool log on the trail and thought it made for a nice picture. Thanks!
Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
The well-used first generation Ladybug in the foreground was my first Spyderco, purchased in the early 1990's. The 15V Military 2 in the background, my latest. These precise, dependable cousins are similarly shaped but complete opposites in terms of handle and blade materials, blade type, locking mechanisms, colors, and of course, size. Even with 30+ years between them, I can always rely on them to be the sharpest tools in the shed.
Thank you to Spyderco, and to all who have submitted your great photos!

With this image, I wanted to create something that is more than just an photograph - something that invites the viewer to pause and engage with the photo. In my effort to create a photo that is engaging for Spyderco fans of all ages, I drew inspiration from the popular "I Spy" children's book series. These books guide readers through uniquely themed images packed with details, encouraging them to find objects that are hidden in plain sight.
This image is a tribute to the experience from those books. It blends the rugged character and setting of a well-worn workbench with the precision craftsmanship of a brand new Spyderco. Hidden in the photo is a selection of Spyderco products that are waiting to be discovered.

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
After getting all my knives stolen years and years ago, the ladybug model is the knife they brought me back into the fold… I saw the ladybug hawkbill sprint after it was basically sold out and decided I had to have it. After acquiring that I decided I needed all the ladybugs so that started me back into collecting Spydercos of all flavors with a focus on completing the ladybug collection!
Here is a purple ladybug on a hydrangea with its namesake photobombing the shot!
Spyderco model: Ladybug 3 In Purple LPRP3
Thanks to Spyderco for the chance to share and participate in the Calendar making process!

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
This year I chose my very first Spyderco, a Delica. When I first got it, it seemed unusual with the thumb hole opening. At some point it just clicked, and now it is by far my favorite opening system. Also, the VG-10 was a confidence booster for a new sharpener like myself. I love how it’s easy to sharpen, and it holds a great edge also. Thanks for the contest, always a good time!

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
This year's entry is a Domino theme for the Spyderco Domino. This is one of my favorite knives, with a nice and unique handle scale that looks great. The image also has a couple of easter eggs when you look at the numbers on the dominos. Hints: Spyderco's address, and Spyderco's first year. Good luck to everyone, thank you Spyderco for the fun contest!
Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
My husband is obsessed with Spyderco and he recently bought a purple Endura and this green Delica & when they came in the mail he surprised me and let me pick which one I wanted so I went with the Delica! I love the size & the color. Also fun fact: I took this picture this morning when I remembered the contest ended today, and had a baby in my arms while I took it. I bet the neighbors had a fun time watching me!

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
I found out about this yearly photo contest a few days ago. It was fun looking at everyone else's submissions as well as taking photos of something again for the first time in a few years!
My photo is of a Para 3 lw in MagnaCut. It is my first Spyderco knife as well as my go-to knife for when I go out on the water.

Just in case the image doesn't show up on the forum: https://postimg.cc/G4QQg9LH

I hope this is formatted correctly. If not I can provide the full (uncropped) image
The Caly series has been a favorite of mine for several years. This Caly 3.5 was something I acquired on sale while waiting on the Caly 3 HAP40 sprint to drop. It turns out the 3.5 sees more pocket time
Thanks to Spyderco for doing this each year!

Re: 2026 Forum Calendar Contest!
As always, right up to the wire... I chose the Pacific Salt 2 this year since I'm always in or around water. From working on a boat for a living to slogging through countless miles of streams digitally mapping and photographing waterfalls I have a Salt Series Spyderco knife on me everyday.
