I am far from an authority on this Jazz. I have a version of Phohotoshop on my machine and can help if you like. If you want to email the pic I'm sure i can get it resized for you. I bet it's a nice photo to knowing you :)

Paint Shop pro is also a good package, at least when I was using it 5 years ago. It only cost $150 then.

If I can help further let me know..........resizing raster images takes software. I too often take what I have for granted.

There are a few different free photo editing software choices available, but my favorite is Picasa. If you open the picture using Picasa, you can export the pic into whichever size you want and it has a very simple to understand interface.

I'd suggest trying it out if you are still have trouble.

Spyderco Para-Military 2 C81GGY20CP2.
Image

The para has always been my favorite all-around folder, smaller than its brother the military but capable of handling the same tasks. When the para 2 came out i was immediatly pleased by the impovments, a few details that made a big difference..

Sage III Blue G-10

I've always wanted a Sage and I finally had a chance recently to purchase one. It might be my favorite out of all my Spyderco knives. Everything about this knife is beautiful and it performs just as well as it looks. It's one of those knives that I cannot stop looking at and appreciating. From the leaf shape of the blade to the fluid deployment to the rigidity of the Collins Bolt Lock...it's just perfection.

Jazz, how do you resize all the pictures you post in your picture thread?

Anyways, if you use Imageshack.us to host them, you can choose to have them resized as you upload them. It will allow you to kill two birds with one stone. :)

I use Photobucket, and they're whatever size they automatically come up as. I don't know anything about that, so they're just right big. Does anyone know if Photobucket can resize pics?

- best wishes, Jazz.

Yep, it sure can. Once you have it uploaded, you can go to the picture and it will have an "edit" option, which if you click, will give you some basic editing options, including cropping and scaling down to smaller sizes. If you need a hand scaling it up to a larger size, send me a PM. I do quite a lot of Photoshop work and can give you a hand.

Yes, Photobucket has tools to resize images. In fact, I think it automatically reduces them in most cases (at least it seems to automatically reduce mine, even when I don't want it to).

Beautiful photographs guys - I will try to cook something up in the next few days but I don't think my photography skills are quite up to par.
