Then it got more complicated, after seeing the tags together we pushed my tag smaller and behind the hole. (together they seemed like too much) That’s how future production will be engraved. We certainly didn’t plan for this - apologies. :o

Jylong_away: The closed retention is significantly greater on the Para2. The lockbar holds pressure on the blade tang in the closed position. One of my only gripes because you can no longer fling the blade out while depressing the bar.
Thanks for that.
I personally actually prefer it that way. It's one of the reasons I love the M2 so much - the closed detent is strong enough to prevent accidental opening, but once you intentionally overcome that resistance, blade opening is waaay smooth with the pivot bushing. Am hoping the PM2 will be similar, as I've never actually handled a PM1.. right-hand-only clip put me off ;p
Also, the way Aus Customs are going, anything that has a remotely weak detent and can be flicked open is liable for seizure..bah!
Like 5.56 said this knife cannot be flicked open by holding the compression lock in like the original Paramilitary. That was one of the first things I tested on it. Now that I am carrying it tip up, I don't want there to be any chance of it opening in my pocket.
My D2 ate a pair of scrub pants lat year and nicked my leg when it opened in the pocket. This is not going to be the case with the Para 2. I took it out with me yesterday to a friends house for a pool/birthday get together.
That knife got a lot more attention than the birthday girl.
I have already gotten use to the new style clip and I put a lanyard on it so you don't notice the huge lanyard hole as much. This knife is really growing on me quickly.
