Per Sal's Request, Suggestions for Which Models Must Go?
I second that vote for the Lava. Actually I believe I've made more than one. The Lava just needs new handle variations to improve grip. G10, FRN and Etched SS. Lava should stay aboard.

Furthermore I really like all Spyderco's models in full SE and I'm not business savvy enough to see it in a business point of view :o :o
 ugh.

I would love the Lava except for one thing: I cannot love a knife that is not made of screwed-together construction. If a Lava variant was released with G-10 handles and could be user-disassembled, I'd have three of them.tomso wrote:Dont know about other designs, but Lava IMHO is just too good of design to be discontinued so soon. Its a perfect knife in its size. It would be a shame to toss away such a good design. Lava has everything...looks, ergos, attention to detail...its perfect. If i would change something, the only thing it would be diferent is a G10 handle and nothing else. Keep Lava is what i say.

I'll second that. Isn't the urban supposed to be made in a wharncliffe variant? It would be nice to get one that locked as well.kimjune01 wrote:I like the small wharncliffe folder idea. I say a byrd wharncliffe blade sorta like the firebyrd lighter but wirh a proper handle should introduce itself.
