I second that vote for the Lava. Actually I believe I've made more than one. The Lava just needs new handle variations to improve grip. G10, FRN and Etched SS. Lava should stay aboard.

I would love the Lava except for one thing: I cannot love a knife that is not made of screwed-together construction. If a Lava variant was released with G-10 handles and could be user-disassembled, I'd have three of them.
