I did not notice that Nick. I will say, I was very close to picking up a Military over the Native Chief. Feels so good in hand and the linerlock is wonderful. Much lighter than I expected. I for some reason thought it had full liners, but it does not. I actually really like the liner lock on the Military. Your hand is in a much more natural position with full control when closing.

Guessing the Military 2 with a comp lock is somewhere close to production if they entered it into the competition.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

When is the Military 2 going to be released? As much as I've fallen in love with my M390 Military over the past 5 years or so I can't wait to step up to even a better Military model.

Haven't been to the BLADE Show in a while. Medical bills and other expenses have severely restricted my activities. But I'm going to seriously shoot for next year (2023)

Was the C-60 Ayoob Sprint Run on display there at the show?

Yes it was! Felt great. Plain edge and serrated.

It’s not going to be a Salt right from the start so it won’t be Magnacut or LC200N. I would have guessed S45VN as well but that Military 2 entry for “American Made Knife of the Year” has an S30V blade. I wonder if that is just for the show entry sample or if that will end up being the production steel as well.

Are there any pics or vids of the Military 2?
Or it's still prohibited to take pictures of it?

Crazy to see an actual Military 2. Tip up carry options and compression lock. Would love to handle one someday to see how it feels. Still unsure if I feel that it's an "improvement" but I don't dislike it.

I don't consider it as an "improvement" either. Rather as a widening of the Spyderco Military model line.

four way clip, para 2 style choil, and comp lock.

I remember wishing this would be made when I bought my first Para 2.

Enjoyed all the changes from gen 1 to 2 and wanted them applied to the Military.

Now here we are.

I think it looks fantastic. I doubt lovers of the current Military will share my enthusiasm. I think there is room for both in the lineup.

It's another knife ^^ with the same blade.
That's different than for example the same knife, but with a different blade :beaming-face

Just seeing it makes me reconsider, I just bought a Yojumbo, and a big knife with a compression lock can be good (imo, I know comp. locks are not for everyone). The ergos are different to apparently, more like on the PM2.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

That's a Para XL through and through. The handle shape is even more like a Para 2 now. I'm definitely curious.

Ahah, you wore THE shirt ! I'm sure it must have let you go everywhere, and do everything !
Thanks for representing our Most Noble Order in Atlanta (even if you represent it not for from there all year long :squinting-tongue )

Nice that you picked up a Native Chief ! How do you like it ? I love the Native line but nowadays I'd say that my heart goes to the Military for most situations.
