I didn't watch the whole second half after their one hour long halftime but the Bills really laid a smackdown last night!
Still not sure if I'm convinced by the Bills yet though. They're a really talented team but they also have an absolute cream puff schedule, they
should win most of their games. I might need to reserve judgment on them until I see how they do in the playoffs again.
I hear ya Nick.
I just feel that so much rides on the QB now a days.
I feel like Buffalo as well as a few other teams (not counting the Bucs) have the potential to win the Super Bowl. But, just like Buffalo, I feel that it mainly depends on their QB and, how well he is playing. I think the last time I remember a Super Bowl winner not have to rely so much on the QB were the Denver Broncos. And, of course both times for the Baltimore Ravens. But, that's just how the game has evolved especially the in the N.F.L.
Ya know, it's funny. When I grew up, the most important position was fullback and especially half back.
Along with linebackers and defensive ends. Those were the positions that would lead pee wee, little league, middle school and high school to Championships. For instance, in 1989, my senior year, we ran the ball 66 times in one game lol.. we also played both ways and talk about being exhausted lol..
Seriously, we may have thrown maybe 2 or 3 passes a game just depending on how important that game was. But, I absolutely loved it!! But, the QB position has evolved to the most important position in about all age groups now a days. Oh man, it was really cool when nobody really wanted to play Quarterback lol.
