Hi, jul. The Manix 2 was my first Spyderco and remains one of my favorites.
I really like the dull appearance of the blade in this photo. Is this some treatment you have given the blade, or is this just the lighting and exposure?

Doug
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

Hi Doug, no it's just the lightning. However the blade finish is the nicest on a Spydie I've ever seen!
This now my 3rd Manix. Owned a blue s30v sprint and a black lightweight, but this is my favorite version!

As you can tell from my sig, I'm a Manix fan as well. I'll eventually get the lightweight and it'll probably turn out to be one of my favorite EDCs, but I'm sort of holding out for a black blade or other variant.
