There was a broken mechanical brake cable on an 80 year old tractor, and finding a replacement was highly improbable. Luckily, there was an 60 year old junker truck nearby where I could poach a parking brake cable that could be brazed onto the existing parts. The cable was coated in plastic, and the most convenient tool for scraping it off was my Manix 2 LW CPM-15V. Problem solved.

These are Striped SeaRobin. They're not a very popular fish for eating in North America but other parts of the world consider them a delicacy. Actually, I was working on Nantucket last summer and spoke with a guy who caught a few that he was planning to eat. He told me how he cleans them by nailing the head to a board and peeling the filet out of the skin. Said he ends up with a perfectly clean white meat filet that he cooks whole.
