I got three manix knives on me today, a first time I have tried this. I got one Manix2 and these two Manix 2XL 's
I think these two in the pic will more than make up for anything the little Manix 2 can't make happen today.
We were a smoking 101 yesterday, not so bad today with mid 90's forecasted. Heck we even have a chance of rain this afternoon...lord knows we need the rain...

Almost got this version myself, it is concerning steel and color my No 3 Manix (all are LW which I prefer over the G10 versions):
Luckily I do own my No1 (REX 45/burnt orange), then it is a close "battle" between the XHP/brown and this 4V St. Nicks for rank two and three..
Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
New to me Para 3 LW in SPY27. This is actually the 3rd LW Para 3 that I've bought (prior were BD1N and Magnacut). I ended up selling the first 2 because I generally prefer G10 in Golden models. Lets see if this one will make the cut and become a keeper.
So, far, its very nice. Perfect detent and nice snappy action, drops shut when closing. Almost perfect blade centering (which is not always the case with LW Para 3s). I really like the cobalt blue FRN. And the edge is shaving sharp.
Here it is with my reigning EDC World Champ, the S35VN DLC Para 3. It will be hard to kick this one out of my pocket

You need to track down the original C95 if you haven't. They pop up from time to time for pretty reasonable prices. $150-200 last I checked.Jeb wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 7:46 amI got three manix knives on me today, a first time I have tried this. I got one Manix2 and these two Manix 2XL 's

I need to get another one of these in PE. I started out the day carrying this, and every cutting task I came across, the serrations made things worse. Ended up switching it out for another.
I'd give the original C95 my vote for the most comfortable handle on any folder Spyderco has made.
We hit the mid 90's yesterday. 100's will be here soon.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

V,
I have seen some of the backlock Manix, they were really pricey like 499.00... figured I would wait on those lol...
Here is the up graded pic of what I have been packing today and they have been awesome.
