Chestnut oak that was coming down due to lightning strike (top was blown out)…asked the guy if he cared if I took a photo before removing the ladybugs and he said sure, then gave me a funny look when I whipped out the goddard for a photo…colors were pretty close 😉
Great photo, Salty.
Thanks man…and I upvote you on Reddit all the time bro, but there’s always haters 👊
Love the pic, and the knife, it's what's in my pocket today. Gotta say, I really wish I'd gotten two.
Thanks and it is an awesome knife 👊

I request a moment of silence for the knife no longer in my pocket.

Amen.

First time I have lost a knife from a Velcro-flapped back pocket. My blacked out SE H1 Pac Salt is at the bottom of a reservoir in West Virginia. An added surprise expense to an otherwise excellent trip! I hope whoever finds it really needed it and appreciates it.

Now then, time to recognize the opportunity before me. Should I replace it with another Pac Salt or a Siren 🤔
I can’t vouch for the blacked out SE H1 Pac Salt as much as I would like to because it’s a beast of a knife and the serrations seem to glow against the black background which is killer looking, but I’ve purchased four Sirens if that tells you anything…🤔

After tomorrow’s harvest I should have enough for a dozen jars of sweet pickles!

They are! By 'VotixEDC'. A little expensive but they've been great.

They sure look great! Micarta pairs well with a patina. I’m curious about the delica in K390 or the leaf jumper. Also curious about the serrated edge on it. I have a serrated dragonfly coming to test out that edge to see if I like it.

Caly 3.5 w/VG10
The 2nd Spyderco I bought new about 10 years ago.
Btw, just noticed that Bento Box Shop still has in stock the Caly 3.5 in VG10 for $209
I'm really suprised they still have them.
The Caly 3.5 is such a fine knife imo -

It’s a pure gem of an edc that’s for sure, I rarely get to carry mine because my gf steals this one from me all the time, but luckily I was able to take it back for a bit to clean and sharpen her back up.

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Leafjumper K390
Been my carry since I got it unless I have a specific reason to carry something else.
I'm in love.
