Today, I'm carrying one of the first Spydercos I ever bought years ago, the Centofante 3. Its smooth FRN is easy on my tattered pocket. This is such a nice knife, I make a point to carry it every once in a while, and always enjoy it when I do.

DougC-3 wrote:It's actually a C98 Poliwog trying to finish its metamorphosis into a frog, not to mention a great photograph... which gives me a brilliant idea (which Eric has probably already thought of :) ) !! Eric could carry the Poliwog to its bio-mechanical extreme and design a "Spyderco Frog," which would be a more mature, lumpy and froggy looking version of the Poliwog!! I'd snap one up. Also wish they'd bring back the Poliwog.
I think you're onto something here..

I really like carrying the Forum Native (the newest one). Just like the feel of it. Still working with the PM2.

She's still shedding a fair bit...despite being brushed every few days. She'll look a little less mangey once we get into the 4th season (We have 4 seasons in Calgary...almost winter, winter, still winter, and road construction). We still have a few odd patches of snow around, but I expect we'll get the typical May long weekend snowstorm.

At least she's a short hair otherwise you'd have enough hair laying around to make a rug :D

Great acreage watchdogs...very intelligent, very loyal, and they don't wander. We had a long haired Shepherd when I was a kid (She was a long haired shepherd/rottweiler cross...gentlest and most mild mannered dog we ever had...she'd walk around a piece of paper if you put it on the floor and was VERY good at catching mice, and even a few bats), and she shed a lot. We've had 2 since then and before this one...the first was the best watchdog we ever had, and the second was ran over my by grandmother. It wasn't her fault...the dog had a deathwish when it came to chasing cars...instead of following directly she'd cut across the field and come at the car perpendicularly. This one is by far the smartest we;ve ever had though...her name is Gypsy and she's about 3 now. It took me less than 5 minutes to teach her how to shake a paw...and another 5 to teach her how to "high five"...and another 5 minutes to teach her to use right or left paw for each. I can also get her to sit for over a minute with a treat balanced on her nose...I can change the TV channel, get a glass of water etc. and she'll still wait.

Thats Awesome , my Doberman was pretty smart . He'd balance dog bones on his nose and wait for my command and then flip it in the air and catch it . His grandpa was a champion and his parents were show dogs to .
You've got your self a beautiful Shepard and smart to !
