Military 2 Salt today.

I'm experimenting with some ways to darken chalky G10, which is especially bad with these milled grooves. I have something on the front side just to see how it holds up, but you can see the difference it made vs the back side.



There are a bunch of common oil type products that will darken G10 but I'm looking for a more term solutions that aren't outright dying the G10 since that's not an option for colored G10.

I'm carrying this one for a while and will get it dirty and scrub it down with a nail brush and dish soap to see how well it holds up.

So, turns out what I thought was chalky/dry G10 is really just pocket lint and dust. It may be dry from the factory but oiling it should last far longer than it is for me, and it does seem to rinse off and go back to being dark black.

Anyway the stuff I was using was just O'Keeff's hand lotion. The stuff works so well for my hands and one day I was handling that Military and noticed the scales were really dark where I had touched it so I rubbed the scales down with it. They looked amazing but I think most any oil type product will give the same results. I'd still just use whatever you feel comfortable with handling since it'll be on the scales and you'll be touching them. If anything maybe avoid any product that will leave the surface moist or sticky where dust will collect easier.

Pm2, some things don't change haha. I've actually been saving money so no new spydies lately.
