Man!! Salt 2, Stretch 1... I guess we have kind of the same taste...

The ATR2 still tempts me. I know a few retailers with some left. I liked the original quite a bit, but wasn't wild about the clip or slick scales. The 2 fixed those things for me, but I'm still a little leary of compression locks. Maybe its time to give them another chance.Sumdumguy wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 1:47 pmFinally got this one fixed and decided to take it for a stroll. The clip is definitely a letdown. Aside from that, it is a great knife. Really wonderful blade shape, that is a lot thinner upfront, than I imagined it would be.
My only other gripe would be, that some of the edges are a bit sharp on the handle. But, that can be fixed easily enough.
With a little modification to the existing clip or a custom, it will be a very nice tool.

That we do my friend, that we do indeed :)
Oh yeah!! I've got a few of those too, Love me some C.Reapers :) and with some Reaper/Tabasco hybrids I've been growing for three or four years now, and more...
To be honest, the holes in the scales and shape of the grip, make it pretty solid in the hand.vivi wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 5:13 pmThe ATR2 still tempts me. I know a few retailers with some left. Once upon a time I got a couple hours of sleep in a mountain patrol shack where skiing is popular.Spydergirl88 wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 9:25 amThis is definitely not a thing in Texas...must be a cold weather state thing. Trespassing in Texas is a big no-no.
Texas is pretty big on no trespassing though. As a kid I remember being told not to go into my one neighbors yard. The guy sat on his porch in a rocking chair with a shotgun on his lap watching for people that ignored the no trespassing signs.
.....
Thanks a lot!Featherblade wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 12:05 pm
Beautiful grooveless handle...
...and ricasso and handle in one line (without forefinger guard).
It's perfect !
