May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

The Hinderer Eklipse wharnie and XM-18 sheepsfoot models are on my wishlist.

How do you find Hinderer's MagnaCut, @JSumm?

So far so good. I am not one to talk about edge retention, but I like ease of sharpening. I have only sharpened it by hand once and it was really a nice experience. I have sharpened quite a bit my McNees Mac 2 with Magnacut. Mainly due to it being overly thick. That experience has been great!

I agree! Have to thank our buddy Abbazaba for that one! Had been drooling over it for years and he put it up for sale elsewhere and gave me a heads up :clinking-mugs

Coating has held up pretty well. Some faint snail trails here and there, but fine by me. Adds a little character!

It is really fantastic. Hinderer's are a bit thick all around. Which are great in the hand, but way more than you need. The skinny versions are kind of a sweet spot for my tastes. This one hits perfectly for me. One of my current favorites that sees a lot of pocket time and use.

@benben you will not regret it.

The plan is to order one the first of the week. Just five minutes ago I ordered a discontinued fully serrated Lil’ Native back lock, this is the Lil’ Native I’ve always wanted. This past Christmas I gave my plain edge compression lock Lil’ Native to our youth pastor, he absolutely loves it!

I’ve missed that little knife, it’s the perfect little in pocket grilling knife!
