I love the Code 4 Clip Point in theory... great size, slim, light weight, amazing lockup, nice grind.... Bought and sold it 3 times lol. Not sure why it never makes it into my pocket. Every time I see a picture of it I want to buy another.Makunochimaster wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 4:13 amIMG_20250428_130309_973.jpgIMG_20250428_130309_328.jpgIMG_20250428_151323_825.jpgIMG_20250428_151323_907.jpg

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I had a Code 4 several years ago. Really liked it, except it always felt like it wanted to slip forward out of my hand. The ergos just didn't quite work for me.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I have a code 4. Bought it because it was supposed to be one of cold steels best edc's. I can see the appeal if you like slim handles for ease of carry, but for me the recon 1 is a better fit. It has a longer handle, thicker scales, better grip on the scales etc.
Anyways, today I'm at my camp spot comparing a stock 3V SRK to my reprofiled user. I'm about to start convexing the saber grind into the bevel on the used one. Wanted to carve, chop, baton etc. with it as is to help me decide how much thinner I should go.

Love these. Got another 3V in the mail along with a combo edge SK5. It's my favorite knife for the outdoors.

I'll buy one of those SRKs one of these days. They seem like a really good value.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
they definitely are. the green handled ones are on sale for $82. that's less than a lot of 1095 knives.PeaceInOurTime wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 12:18 pmI'll buy one of those SRKs one of these days. They seem like a really good value.
