Gun show today, this is only the 2nd non-Spyderco I own along with my ZT 0562.

Several firsts for me here, my first PRO+TECH, my first (somewhat) Strider, and my first MagnaCut. I have to say, after looking it over and trying to find something wrong, this little fella is absolutely perfect in every way!

The Protech Strider PT+ is a great little knife and fires out like a rocket 🚀
Yes it does, hold on!

This particular Protech vendor that’s always at the Hickory, NC gun show is one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever spoken to, him and his wife couldn’t be any friendlier. This is the third show in a row I’ve looked at and handled this particular model, not sure if I bought it because I liked the knife, or the couple? :grin-squint

Trying out my higonokami for some moderate work. Breaking down some boxes.

Blade worked well, but the handle is a little thin for ideal comfort. Edge held up well as expected since it's supposed to be 60rc.

No issues with the lack of lock, even pressing the blade spine with my thumb, or getting the knife wedged in the cardboard and pulling it out.

Good performance all around for a $9 knife :grin-smiling-eyes

Leatherman Kick also helping out with some chores

Looks really nice. Just ordered one. Nearly went for bolsters, last second picked all wood.

Property maintenance and winter preparations on a frosty Sunday afternoon.
Reached for the Spydie clipped to my backpocket and to my surprise this is what came out. Then I remembered switching from my Endura TRL to the 940 when doing my last logging session for the season a couple of weekends back. I guess I should do real work and wear my work pants more often :)

Bought 2 Hinderer folders, they are very nice. Getting rid of around $9,500 in knives over the next 60 days. Getting rid of everything except the most essential edged weapons. If it is not an absolute fit for self defense I am getting rid of it. If I do not think it will pass a test by Doug Marcaida, it's gone.

I should get me one of those fancy Wera toolkits one day! 👍 Unfortunately I hurt the budget with a bunch of Knipex pliers recently... :zipper
