Fake Techno 2?

A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.

Fake Techno 2?

I just purchased a used Techno 2 from the milliepm2p3club Facebook group.

It looks terrific to me - very comparable to my original Techno 1 that I purchased new. A paid a fair price - definitely not a "too good to be true" price.

All the details seem right to me, except this one - notice there's no silver triangle below the "beak" on the top of the spider logo:

Everything else seems great - all the other marks on the blade, the green standoffs, the overall fit and finish.

However - I just want to be certain, just in case I ever want to resell it - I wouldn't want to misrepresent it.

I don't think there's a fake Techno 2. There's a fake Techno 1. The "higher-end" Spyderco fakes are not even close in quality to the originals. They are easy to tell apart when in hand.
