I can't remember a new release ever being ignored this much. No one on the forum has tried one?
May you find peace in this life and the next.

You already know the answer to that one...if it were stamped with any kind of steel above S30V, people would be clamoring for one. Willing to bet if it was stamped as MagnaCut and was still really 8cr, people would be talking about awesome the knife/steel is!!

I was considering one for the price, but then moved into my new role at work which doesn't require much knife use. I also already have a couple insingo blade designs on my CRK's. Personally couldn't justify buying one.

I have the Stok drop point version. I love the blade shape. I got it right after mushroom season, but that's what I got it for. Its the perfect size to lop mushrooms off the stem in the woods. I have not used it much as of yet but I do get it out and admire it occasionally.

i really wanted the drop point, but it came out right as i moved to a state that doesn't allow concealed carry of fixed blades. that makes it hard to carry one outside of hiking and i already have other knives that are better suited for that.

i'd have no problem edc'ing a small 8cr13mov fixed blade if it weren't for my local laws.

I thought about getting one but I have a lot of knives in that size so couldn't justify it. I agree it may have been more popular in a higher end steel. Even aus10 may have received more interest even though I doubt many would actually notice a difference in performance.

Mine just came in. It’s a cute lil knife. Perfect for city carry. I love that blade shape, it’s very versatile.

Somehow I missed this one. I don't own many fixed blades and have been looking at snagging an Enuff for a while now. The Stok looks really sweet though.

I like them, but I'm in the same boat as ladybug regarding fixed blade carry. In fact, I probably have to part with even my SE ARK, which I love, but is really hard to carry legally here.

That would be good. The less stupid laws the better. I'm not holding my breath for the same in California.

As of July 1, 2023, you can carry anything you want, except a ballistic knife. The law change was HB 543, the same bill that legalized constitutional carry of firearms.

I already have multiple fixed blades in that size range, so I couldn't justify getting one either, especially with Ric often pointing out I have too many knives :smlling-eyes

I bought both versions. They are small, and I have medium to small hands. The stock thickness is 2.49 mm. I've used mine mostly while gardening. I liked the design but honestly don't know the best niche this would fill in my life. But there you go, I've them anyway. I'll have to put some thought into this I guess. I really can't see anything I'd use this for that I wouldn't use a Moran for first.

i knew about the law change, but i thought knives had different considerations. i see now that they don't, but unfortunately, anything that would be considered a weapon is still illegal for me to carry at work. i'd love to edc an izula. i always thought is was stupid that i could carry a 4" auto, but not an izula.

Maybe it's super popular in China.

The Bowie does not look bad. I think that it would be my first 8Cr13MoV knife.

Once I find a pattern or profile, I shop around and see who makes them and the full specs. I buy the best that I can for all purchases because they seem to stick around, and if not they have excellent potential for reselling.

Zero interest. I like small fixed blades, but there are a bunch of other options that are more compelling to me, including the Enuff 2.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
