Who says you can't fidget with little knives?

I have a Cold Steel micro recon 1 in my office drawer and yesterday I unconsciously started to fidget with it while reading through some documents. Spydieflicking a micro recon isn’t ideal, and I now have the scars prove it :grin-sweat

This is also legitimately an easier way to open the knife than trying to roll it with my thumb because the knife is really secure between my thumb and forefinger, while I find trying to hold the knife while I'm opening with my thumb feels much less secure.

I find the same difficulty using a thumb roll. I have taken to gripping the handle with my thumb and middle finger, and rolling opening with my index on the opposite side.

Can’t quite flick it like you can. Impressive. :bug-red

I don't try to flick the tiny little knives because I'm pretty sure I'd end up shooting one across the room. I do open and close them sometimes though

i occasionally fidget with my hawkbill ladybug. 10/10 do not recommend. that hawkbill catches me about every other time i fidget with it. it's always a tiny cut, but sometimes it really wakes me up.

man... this post makes me sound pretty foolish.
