Finally my spyderco spyderfly is sharp again. It took me forever to sharpen it. Turns out it just needed a taste of diamond to get it back in shape. Anyone here still use their Original Spyderfly?

Let me get this right. Unless I am military or law enforcement or fire-fighter... I cannot own an auto anywhere in the US? My states laws seem pretty lax on knives, this is why I'm confused... Is this a straight up federal, nationwide law?

I am just wondering why I can't find auto spydies for sale in oregon when auto benchmades and kershaws are at every decent knife dealer?

Hey guys, just curious, i've seen the Spyderco Spyderfly, and it looks really cool, but i was curious as to whether spyderco even makes them anymore? I heard that they stopped making it for legal reasons, with the switchblade ban. whats up with that?

I just got the 440C version of the Spyderfly and am wondering why the latch does not work when the knife is open?
It seems like a very big detail to miss and the handle is terrible to actually use and get a grip on.
It feels like there is something wrong...

Hey All, I just got the Embassy PE from our Knifebro JspyEDC/Jess. What an Incredible knife!!! Great ergos, fast/smooth opening, wicked sharp, built Rock Solid as always by The Spyderco Crew and the safety is an awesome plus. Photos will be posted soon....

Just to get my facts straight, is there a difference in how the 1st generation Fly's were made ( I remember it was called cast steel) with respect to the current generation (which is marketed as 'molded injection metal'. Or are they identical?

I have read numerous posts that indicate there will be several different sizes released for the Samaritan model. I am curious what the dimensions of the smallest verision will be? Any new info on the release dates of the different models would be great to.

I saw in the August 2008 Knives Illustrated that Spyderco is releasing the C121 Embassy (Auto). Is anyone tracking this release? I can not find it on the spyderco website and I want that knife so bad.
