Love those Mustangs. My Brother used to have a 82 hatchback, just looked like crap because he gutted the inside and painted it flat black, it had a 400hp 5.0 in it though. He had a automatic in it that you shifted manually at full throttle. He let me drive it one day and it was a rush, hammering thr...

I think you are wrong to believe that bin Laden is replaceable. It takes a special kind of maniac to gather the following he has. Oh wait, like the kind of manic that would strap a bomb to themselves and blow up innocent women and kids. That's 99% of his followers, I'm sure someone will step up and...

I've only handled the PPT, it is a very nice knife but unfortunatly the place I looked at it was asking around $220 for it!! I know I can get it way cheaper online, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Like the Persian too, but the PPT just looks a little classier.

I snatched this instead. Nowhere near as fast, but a whole lot quicker than my saturn (and a whole lot more reliable, and in much better shape) http://www.preferredusedcars.com/cars/pcl/pcl-0846_2.jpg 2003 Torch Red Mustang GT coupe 260 hp, 300 lb ft 5 speed I like it a lot :) Nice! You can always sell the one you don't carry as much, if money is an issue. While they both are nice, and the Millie certainly has a really strong lock, the comp lock on the Para is engineering brilliance. Plus with the new Para 2 you have more options for carrying. Personally I'd go Para 2, but the ...

I don't have a lot of knives like some people here. I mostly just keep a few users and that is it. For Spyderco knives I have a Dodo and a Manix 2 in CTS-XHP. My other knives are a SAK soldier, a Boker neckknife and several Emerson folders which is another favorite brand of mine. I have the other kn...

We did rockwell tests on HSS lathe tooling in school, it was all around 62Rc. It is probably not the best thing to make a knife out of though as it is very brittle. You would have to temper it somehow to take some of the brittlness out, which would obviously make it slightly softer as well.

I've owned one before and honestly I don't know what the hype is about. Not really a big fan, it locks open and has no play, but it wasn't at all as smooth as other blades I've owned and the thumbstuds are horrible.

I'm getting almost $5000 back, but it will mostly all be going into savings for a rainy day. Been trying really hard lately to get some money set aside for life's little suprises. That being said there are few models coming out this year I will have to pick up for sure.

I've heard you talk about this as a dream knife for quite a while, never really thought it would be that nice personally. But you have proved me wrong :) Looks very nice with the natural wood and bolsters, just need to lose the clip now. Congrats..

I never go on bladeforums too much, but went there last night to check it out and noticed they changed. Not too excited about it. It's harder to read and it's slow like other forums of that format. Not really sure why people would call it an upgrade as it most certainly isn't. I do agree the Knifefo...

My beater is my EDC, a Green Manix 2 with Carpenter steel. Why buy it if I don't use it? It even has some nice gouges in the G-10 from falling with it in my pocket at work and my keys digging into the scales. I use it for everything at work, mostly doing fixits to the trucks or cutting large 4"...

Love mine, really works good. Sometimes hard to clamp on certain blades, but I find wrapping some electricians tape around the spine of the blade makes it clamp well.
