Thanks all. I appreciate the advice--that is one of the reasons I enjoy this forum so much. I think I will go with the endura--he mentioned to me once that he thought the emerson waved knives were neat so I will probably go with a waved E4. The millie will be for me.

Left Handed LEO Knife

My brother recently became a cop and I want to get him a spyderco. He likes blades that are 3 1/2" and up. What do you think would be a good lefty friendly knife? I am thinking waved Endura. How hard is it to find a left handed police or millie? Correct me if I'm wrong but the clip can not be c...

Do not, I repeat DO NOT, ever drink more than 2 Hurricanes at the Piano Bar ( I forget the name) in the French Quarter. I had 4 and payed for it dearly. Pat O'Brians is the name of the bar. As a frequent vistor to New Orleans (I only live 80 miles away) I know first hand that you always have to be ...

I have a PE edge and love it. I think a SE that small wouldn't be useful.

Just picked up a PE Tasman about a month ago. It has found its way into my pocket several times a week since. It is extremely light and I find the hawkbill very useful. So yea I'm a fan.

I have owned my PE SS Cricket the longest. A total of five months. It is the one that started it all. Now eight spydies later and I can't stop.

My first was a PE Cricket purchased in January of this year. It got me hooked-- a poliwog, salt 1 , civilian, captain, cf caly 3, and a dodo followed. I am always amazed at the craftmanship and high quality of each knife purchased.

I own both a poliwog and a CF Caly 3. For "every-day city-slicker cutting tasks" I think the Caly would be the way to go. I don't have the G-10 Caly, but I can attest that the CF- Zdp is scary sharp and fits in the pocket better than the poliwog. I love my poliwog, but I think it is too he...

One Must Have Spyderco

I am fairly new to collecting spyderco's. I started in January and have acquired five so far- I love each one with the Captain and Poliwog being my favorites. That said looking around a PE Massad Ayoob is the one spyderco I must have and do not own. What about you all--with your extenisve collection...

The good news is I discovered a lo...
