It's a good knife but still (too) intimidating for EDC in the UK, IMO.
The new orange version is probably better in this regard but we await the Urban model-any month,now. :rolleyes:

As I understand it , its basically a downsized Caly III , with a slipjoint an a 2.6 in blade , to be offered in various handle materials . Any offers on when they will become available . I want one !

I have searched them an not found anything very deffinative . I can see it as being a good carry ...

This Red China model :spyder: seems to be such good value it would be impolite :rolleyes: NOT to order one. I have, therefore, done so.

I hope this all works out for the Spyderco team-I fear that it's 'a sign of the times'.

Doesn't anyone carry an Atwood Prybaby,that essential knife saving tool?It's a lot more difficult to bend than a Spydie blade when you use the knife for purposes other than for which it was designed!

Even the UKPK is really a little too large and intimidating for EDC in the UK.
