Grail Delicas achieved! Thank you DLT! Endura next PLEASE! That is my overall grail knife! :D https://i.imgur.com/6HAyNEV.jpg That’s so beautiful! Mine is still “acceptance pending” whatever that means. I hate waiting! Great pic. Excellent knife. ;) Mine should arrive tomorrow.
Turns out, I love the knife. It has taken its place in my pocket for the last 2 weeks. I bought it recently on a whim and ended up really liking it. I'm not usually a guy who carries frame locks. Just not my favorite lock. This knife is fantastic. It's a little smaller than the Native 5 (which I lik...
I received mine today. It's a really nice knife. I mean, the Delica is a great knife period. With tool steel this thing is even more fantastic. It's bitey as heck like M4 is. This is my first knife in Cruwear. The gray looks darker than the standard gray VG-10 Delica. I don't know if this is the fir...
Been wanting one for a long time so I made one. What a great knife. They are both CQI models and man are the small improvements awesome. Looks like they also radiused the outer edges of the handles a tiny bit for comfort. I love the floating stop pins in these models. https://i.imgur.com/PdtbESn.jpg
NC, oh yes.. my Milli is just a bit TOO long when closed, but the Chief has just Endura-length, which is great. And, yes, a backlock... way better for me than a linerlock.. What do you guys not like about a linerlock? Do you think you are going to disengage the lock accidentally during use? I reall...
Me too, but just in PE... There are only two knives that I like that have the liner lock: Military and Cat. I do not like the lock, I just put up with it. The Cat is small enough it is not going to get used hard. The Military is, the Military, and everyone needs one. Now I will be buying the P4 and...
No. Unnecessary. It would then defeat the purpose of being made in China and the price would get close to that of a Para 3 lightweight. Plus I find it ugly (the Tenacious).
I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I would see what happens if you get a longer knife. Also, no need to take it apart. Either just flush the pivot with some hot water, or some oil (if you want, it's not needed for an FRN Salt with no liners). Salt's are resilient as heck and don't need anyth...
I've participated in, and have read all of this thread, as far as I can tell, and have seen no mention of the printing on this blade yet. Has anyone else here noticed that it's different? Has Spyderco mentioned this publicly, somewhere, and I have just missed it? I get at least 2 Spyderco knives a ...
The Manix is too big and bulky for me no matter what you do to it. On top of that, the newer backlock version was just too thick. Thin it down and round the edges like a Para 3 and make the blade less tall and get rid of the jimping all over the handle.
