I've done that (dropping on concrete) with a Sebenza before, and just did it to my new BM Ritter yesterday, and both survived. BM got a tiny nick on the edge, which came right off with a couple passes on a ceramic rod. Sebbie never showed any sign of damage. Both are stonewashed S30V blades. Just ...

I love it, but it's destined to stay in my display case, thanks to its ridiculous weight... I just can't carry a knife that small that weighs that much :( If there was a Sprint with a lighter handle material though...

There's Williams Cutlery in Palo Alto — great selection, but probably the only place that can challenge We Be Knives in terms of $$ above MSRP :)

There's also Redwood Trading Post in Redwood City. Nice selection, but still overpriced.

There's a surplus store near me in Mountain View, but those ...

Thanks mike!

Here's a silly question though... are these really worth 2x the price of a FFG Endura?

I have lots of knives, but it seems I can never make myself carry the $100+ ones on a regular basis these days, and instead keep coming back to my FRNs, like the Caly Jr or the Dragonfly. Partly it ...

Opinions on Para 2 vs Superleaf vs Chokwe

Thinking of getting a bigger knife, and these all seem to have similar specs. I was also eyeing Military and Police 2, but those are probably a bit too large fr me.

I've asked for comparison pics in the Gallery, but would love to hear people's general opinions here.

Thanks!

Comparison pic(s) request: Para 2, Superleaf, Police

I've been buying mostly little :spyder: s, but now I'm thinking about getting one of the big knives. I have a Manix 2, but I'm not too crazy about the grind, as well as the overall bulk of it. It just doesn't sit in my hand very well.

So I started looking at:

1. Paramilitary 2
2. Superleaf
3 ...

I have the ZDP FRN Dragonfly and Urban, and they are pretty different. Not sure how much closer to the Urban the G10 version is though. Dragonfly is much slimmer. Here's a pic:

Thanks! :) It's a perfect office EDC. So light, it disappears in the pocket. And the new wire clip is amazing.
