Today I received a Manix 83 and a Delica 4, both in PE.
The Manix 83 is for me, and I offered the Delica 4 to my future wife ! It's her first knife, and first she felt weird about it, then, she liked the spyder on the blade, and at the end she said I should expect her to be as crazy as I am with her ...

Well, I'm finally gonna receive my Manix 83 in the end of the week (I'm in Europe... it takes more time to receive US new knives...). I've never handled it yet but I know I'm gonna love it, because I absolutely adore my Manix.
First, my work colleagues were afraid of my Manix, now, like this morning ...

On my side I start carrying as my EDC only my color handle Spydies, because the only time I took out my Manix at work, lunch time, people were impressed and partly "afraid" as they found the knife "scarry". But when I took out my blue Delica or my orange Rescue, the girls at work were saying "What a ...

Hi all,

I just receive mine yesterday and I'm quite disappointed with the quality...
As I was afraid, it came brand new with some blade play, and there is some oil around the pivot, so even if I'm cleaning it when open, each time I close it and open it, oil came out again... Not nice, and it's sad ...

Hi all,

I've just done a search in the forum to read other threads about the Native and I read "bad" things regarding the Native I S30V, apparently several people where disappointed with it because it wasn't very well built and sometimes there was some bladeplay... ??? Made in USA Colorado with ...

Sure, I would love such Native too if Spyderco managed to keep a reasonable weight under 4 oz / 110 g

I would buy 2 or 3 !!!

Salut Nfinite,

Welcome here, I'm quite new to this forum too ! You know French... always late (; )
I started my Spyderco addiction with some Delicas which are very great folding knives to start with, then I got the Endura, second classic spydies after the Delica, and then I went into "serious ...

Thanks a lot guys for your comment, as mentionned, I think I'm gonna go for the PE first, and if I really like it, I'll get a SE too.

The thing is I was looking for a very reliable steel (to me, that's S30V), then for a very reliable folding knife, I've looked around, but for a folder there's ...

Manix + reason why...

On my side I had the same tough choice, however, cons for the Milie are for me the liner lock, as mentionned earlier when you are very tired or cold you can easily cut yourself while closing the blade. No matter what people will tell you, it happens, that's all. Then according to my taste, the Milie ...

Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm, but after 2 weeks of thinking and searching the best EDC for my taste. It means an excellent blade steel : CPM-S30V, strong lock, but with a non-expensive handle like titanium, anodized aluminium or G10 which immediately put the price very high for nothing except ...

Thanks Paul. Too bad it's engraved, it's really not nice at all though as dialex says, the ergonomics + G10 + S30V make it an incredible knife... Such a waste as I'm sure I would love this knife, but I'm afraid I would bored by this big logo on the blade, I really don't like it... But I'll see if I ...

One question please. Is the big logo on the blade removable by polishing it or is it engraved in the blade ?

And just one more if you don't mind, what is the exact maximum width of the knife when it's closed please ?

Thank you !

You've got a point and even if the situation you discribed is a little "too much" you are still right about the principle, that's why after some searching on the web, I'm now starting thinking about getting a ...
