Re: Dragonfly - show the love!
Just got this one, very nice, added a bobtail fob on there, extends the handle just a bit also helps in drawing the knife too, being small it didn't warrant a full size lanyard, this works out well for it;

Re: Me Domino
Thanks guys, I am really liking this one, I had the Southard, but found the blade was overall too thick spined for my cutting needs, this is ground down thin and full flat grind works great.

Re: Show us your lanyards!
Thanks I'm in love with these diamond knots, they just work so well, you can get them pulled so tight they are like diamonds when you feel them, very hard knots, just the right size for my pinky to hook onto and the other end of the lanyard has one to end the loop.

Re: Me Domino
Funny you should say that, as my main carry before getting the D was a ZT, they are pretty close in size, the D being a little thicker seems handier and the texture just enough that it makes a good difference;

Me Domino
Through a round about way, several trades later, I ended up with this very nice Domino with CTS-XHP blade, while some have commented they didn't care for the carbon fiber laminate, I find it very appealing and it provides a small amount of texture, here's some shots of my recent trade;

Well, in watching real close on just what I am doing, I believe there is some forward passes that do happen, so I think for the most part you're right, Grinding is grinding and for me the tip to heel backward stroke provides me a positive means of keeping the same angle, easier, while I've for YEARS ...

Then I reckon my post fits right in with the title of this thread "Believe it or not..." ;) but yep, and the method is working extremely well for me, so far at least. Now when there is need to really adjust a badly worn blade's bevels I'll sharpen a bit more coarsely both directions but mainly going ...
