For edge-polishing blades, I use the 2-stage leather hones (bench-strop system) availabe at www.handamerican.com. I use 600-grit for edge touch-up and 10000-grit for final polishing.

Gave my son a full-size Calypso.

I liked the feel, looks, fit and finish so well that I ordered one for myself.

I'm curious about why this knife is discontinued.

Why was the full-size Calyso discontinued?

I bought a Calypso for my son for Christmas, and liked it so much that I ordered another for myself.



I'm curious about why this knife has been discontinued.
