Re: Anybody still use CASH?

I live in a very rural area and work in retail. I'd guess about a third of the transactions I see are in cash. In fact, the local liquor store quit taking cards several years ago due to the fees. It's pretty humorous to watch people that aren't from the area trying to pay by waving their phones at r...

Re: What’s Your Favorite Underrated Sleeper Knife?

I'd have to go with the D'Allara 3. It had the potential to be a very popular model. I believe the cost of G10 models out of Seki City killed it before many people got the opportunity to try out such an amazing design.

REALLY hoping the do this with the new LC200n SWICK. JUST SAYIN! :D :spyder:
I like that idea, but if they did something like this with a Swick, a coffee mug would be cool. Or a beer mug. Anything where you'd usually have a handle, really.

Re: NFL Season: 2020-2021

Things might not have been Landry's fault, but I don't think he would've taken the huge gamble that Jimmy Johnson did by trading Herschel Walker. Luckily for Jimmy and the Cowboys, that trade paid off and really turned things around for them in hurry.

Re: SNK Manix 2 4V Coming....

I would've preferred that it be saber ground like the fradon lock exclusive, but I like 4v so much that I think I'll try to get one anyway.

I think I'm hoping and dreaming for a lot here, but how about an Ayoob sprint run? And while I'm dreaming big, maybe a new upgraded Rookie based on the P4.

Very nice knife. In the US, so I'm not in, but I think your giveaway is very generous and says a lot about your character. I hope it goes to someone who will use and appreciate such a well crafted knife.

Re: Your favorite handle shape

The D'Allara 3. I wish there would've been more interest in an FRN version or that I would've been able to get an earlier version with FRN. But it still fits just about perfect in my hand even with the flat slabs of G10.

Re: D’allara 3 plunger swap?

I just looked at my D'Allara 3 and Q Ball side by side. I hadn't even realized the plungers were made of different materials. Just looking at them and not measuring, they look to be about the same diameter. The height of the plunger head is about twice as high on the Q Ball's metal plunger as the D'...

Re: Reveal 4, What's your favorite release?

I might have to try out some REX45. But I'm definitely going to have to get that Astute. I'm not a huge fan of liner locks or 8cr. Neither one is a deal breaker for me on that knife though. It looks like more ergonomic perfection from Spyderco.

I think the 4 was the wharncliffe. It would be cool to see it come back in some form or another. People can't seem to get enough wharncliffes these days so the timing would be right.

Re: Is this a grip that you use?

I just realized after looking at the pictures in this thread that I've maybe been holding my knives funny this whole time. I almost always use the ramp and choil, but I push the back of the handle pretty firmly into my thenar eminence. So I end up with two or three fingers not even touching the fron...

Re: New 30-30 in the house!! ;)

Nice gun. It doesn't get much better than a 336. My preferred flavor is the xlr, but that c should be a light, quick handling little carbine. Congrats on the purchase and I hope you enjoy it.

I got it. First one for me. I wonder if the notifications will only be for production models or if they will eventually notify us of upcoming sprints and exclusives.

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

I'm definitely not a Patriots fan, but a lot of the easy games in their schedule are against other teams in their division. It's not their fault the rest of their division is horrible. I don't have any explanation for the other easy games, but that makes it seem less fixed. On the NFC side, the Viki...

Re: Sal: Can we have another run of the Caspian Salt?

I could see this happening if the new Swick does really well. They're a similar design. There was already some interest expressed in a longer bladed Swick in that thread. Although it was designed as a specialty tool, I wonder how well the Caspian works for general utility use.
