Birdseye Maple Chaparral Anticipation Thread

Don’t want to miss out on this one so thought I would start a thread to track release. Hoping it may be soon with Maxamet Sage already having been shipped.

Re: I tried so hard...

Lil’ Nilakka if you can find one second hand. Lightweight, small, and a liner lock, I loved mine! He also said he doesn’t like thick G10, but maybe an exception since it’s smooth?

Re: 1st Impressions Of The New SpyOpera

Just got my SpyOpera in the mail today and I can say I am very impressed. I think I have a new daily EDC for awhile. https://i.imgur.com/1ZxdtRh_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium I also had try out one of the new Lynch clips. Almost all of my Spydies are wire clips so I am very excited ...

Re: Mirrored stone wash finish love thread

This used to be my favorite finish. I still really enjoy it, however I am always left with a feeling that the knife is not sharp, I feel it detracts from a slicey appearance as the blade is so smooth and polished and the edges and lines are rounded (some designs more than others, e.g. Techno 2, Pays...

Re: Damasteel UK Penknife UKPK - HANDLE OPTIONS final poll

G10 ivory and i wouldn't get it if it was CF.

The Damasteel already has a busy pattern, why anybody would want the handle to be busy as well (shred CF) beats me.

Re: Damasteel UK Penknife UKPK - HANDLE OPTIONS

I feel like we should determine if micarta is actually an option linerless. Otherwise imo having two ivory options subtracts votes from either.

Re: Damascus UK Penknife UKPK - HANDLE OPTIONS

G10 Ivory Smooth like the lil Nilakka +1 In my opinion, a Damascus blade should be paired with a handle that is elegant, but simple so that it doesn't draw attention away from it. Contoured and polished G10 or Micarta would be ideal and ivory or white would be an excellent choice. Yes and yes. It w...

Damasteel is like art, cheaping out on half of the knife seems like the wrong option.
“Art is in the eye of the beholder.”

Now if I was to be holding a UKPK in Damasteel with contoured ivory G10, that would be a beautiful art piece.
