Hi Rinzler,

That would probably be OK. Make sure to talk to Derrek, the store manager, let him know what you are doing and tell him you spoke with me about it.

Is the actual Spyderco knife factory located in the very same building as the Spyderco factory outlet? Just curious :)
Yep they're in the same building.
That's cool :)
Thank you

Re: HRC Database

Hey everyone, I just recieved my new GB2 and sharpened it. It sharpened so easily that I had to do a HRC testing at work (we got quite superior equipment ;)). 2 pokes into the tang, 62,7HRC and 62,3. I would be a little bit happier if it where a little bit higher, but I think it is good to go. Mayb...

The DLT Delica OD green DLC cruwear tested at 62.1 HRC. Good stuff. Are you getting any readings for the rest of the current K390 Seki series, besides the Delica? I plan on getting the k390 endura when it is released. I may get the k390 endela as well. I am going to test everything I get now...

Spyderco Politician? Nah. I'll pass...
What's the point?
According to the name, it would be a useless, dull, but crazy expensive knife :D

Re: What’s up with the military?

To me, bushing is the new pivot colar found on some of the Taichung models. Military does not have one of those. bush·ing /ˈbo͝oSHiNG/ Learn to pronounce noun 1.a metal lining for a round hole, especially one in which an axle revolves. 2.a sleeve that and protects an electric cable where it passes ...

Re: What’s up with the military?

The Military is one of my favorites and I still have and use the ComboEdge S30V Black G-10 which I got in September 2005 for $103! There were 7 new Military models released from May 2016 to February 2019 all with CQI enhancements: Military CTS-204P Dark Green G-10 C36GGRP KnifeWorks (USA) - MAY 201...

Okay Alex

Phosphor bronze pivot washers:
Thickness: 0.26mm or 0.010"
OD: 12.72mm or 0.500"
ID: 5.84mm or 0.230"

Standoff:
Diameter: 5.07mm or 0.200"
Length: 4.23mm or 0.166"

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more measurements, while I have the knife disassembled.
Thank you! 👍

Re: Spyderco CQI Military washers size

To be honest I don't know whether the are changed or not, but I'm almost sure the are. I don't have the older pre-CQI Millies to compare in person. I just want to get replacement washers for the current CQI Military S110V, but got no calipers to precisely measure the specs... Maybe someone knows? 🤔...

It didn't occur to me that they even changed? Is the diameter of the pivot different or did they just switch to a double screw bushing?
