Holy thread revive macaroni.
Just wanted to say another appreciative word on these two knives. I carry them A LOT, 6 years down the line (and many more to go). Such great designs and so much versatility in a small package and at a very nice price.

Thank you everyone for another memorable weekend! Much obliged and much appreciated. Spyderco's generosity is truly exceptional. Looking forward to AM2025! Congratulations to the big winner of the day, you know who you are,

I'll edit later with the exact model numbers but up front we have the Spyderco Tenacious G10 on the Spyderco Sharpmaker. On the homemade strop there's a Byrd Raven 2 G10 and in the back laying down is a Byrd ...

Ah, this is really sad news. Was really looking forward to meeting the friends I made the last couple of years, checking out the protos,... and adding the 2020 coin to the collection, not gonna lie :). But, I do understand the decision. I sure hope there's still a slight chance of having another ...

Very interesting read. I have both the Byrd hawkbill as well as a Dragonfly salt with a hawkbill blade. Though I like both a lot, the Byrd does get carried more often. It's my yard knife and it really does excel at that.

Glad to see some more pictures here of the Byrd hawkbill. It still is my favourite yard workhorse. Lot sof fibrous materials so no plain edge knife comes close.
