Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

I may have an unpopular opinion here, but with the tolerances required for the lanyard tube on this particular model..... May I humbly suggest removing the lanyard hole like on the Police 4? Is it necessary? How many of us are using lanyards with this knife? And as I said the tolerances required ha...

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

I suppose a "less-stepped" version would work also, if that makes sense, and if such a thing exists. Maybe. The clearance is very, very tight. Extremely tight. Even if they made the ricasso kick slightly longer to keep the blade off the tube, the tip of the knife would probably be stickin...

I suppose a "less-stepped" version would work also, if that makes sense, and if such a thing exists. Maybe. The clearance is very, very tight. Yep, I took mine apart and planned to file the step down on the tube, but I mangled the tube getting it out, so now I am ridin' tubeless. Kind of ...

Sal, any plans for more G10/Cruwear Seki models?

Sal, It seems like the G10 Cruwear Stretch XL is a big hit. Selling out at every dealer so far, even DLT Trading. Are you planning on additional models in this combo? I know sales on G10 models out of Seki have been slow in the past, but I think the added value of Cruwear paired with the tough Peel ...

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

Despite the lanyard tube issue, I really like this knife. I hope they get it sorted through CQI, and then hopefully they will do a run of Delicas/Endelas/Enduras in this Grey G10/Cruwear combo. Its such a great combination of materials and the fit/finish is superb aside from that one little issue. I...

Re: stok drop point

These are SCREAMING for the Cru-carta treatment. They would be huge sellers if they could pull that off at $100 or less in my opinion. I'd be all over them.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

So is the lanyard tube hitting the blade on literally all of them as they're just made like that? Or is it just a qc issue on some? Does not effect my blade at all. I have checked a couple of times now. Have you tried closing it hard and or banging the knife on a table? Mine wasn't really apparent ...

Cru-carta is always a popular choice.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

Maybe I will take it apart and put a notch in the lanyard tube where the blade marks are so the blade no long hits? Kind of annoying to have to do this to a $300 knife.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

Just got mine from DLT and it definitely rests on the tube and bangs into it when closing. I have major blade marks on the tube, but being Cruwear, there is no visible edge damage thankfully. Hopefully this gets resolved via CQI soon as this is an amazing knife otherwise. I guess I will hold on to i...

Re: Shaman in 52100 (anyone)?

I'd REALLLLLY like to see a round of 52100 Sprints in the Seki models (Delica/Endura/Endela/Dfly/Jester/Manbug...and a few wharnies as well).

Are the Goddards made in the same Seki factory as the Delica?

i'd take a military 1 in 15v. otherwise, some seki models would be nice.

Re: Shaman in 52100 (anyone)?

Probably in for both edge types. I just really enjoyed my 52100 Military. It's a sort of guilty pleasure, I know there are way better steels for my needs and uses but I love how it sharpens. I'd of course really be interested in SE, I really like how the serrations come on the Shaman. 52100 Militar...

Re: Lightweights - Salty or Bust!

Seki FRN models make up 95%+ of my collection and is pretty much all I carry. I honestly prefer the linered non-salt versions, especially in K390 and Cruwear. I have many Salts and carry them at the beach, pool, for yardwork, etc., but for EDC I carry the non-salt models.

Thank you sir! This is what I have been waiting for! I love ordering from DLT due to their rewards, free shipping, and lack of sales tax in my state.

Re: Stretch 2 XL in grey G10 and CruWear steel!

i'm glad some of you can afford it, but that price is absurd. how do they justify over $70 more for this than the ayoob? i thought the ayoob was too expensive, but at least it was a sprint, so it can demand a little higher price. what makes this so much more expensive as a production piece? if this...

Re: Best Spyderco for a Kid?

I'd start with the wooden and glow in the dark kids kits first. Then a Delica trainer. Then a Dragonfly or Delica once she has played around with the trainer a lot. This is what I did for my kids. My 10 year old has a Delica and Dragonfly now. And my 8 year old will get one of those once he gets his...
