Another Spyderco ceramic sharpener with added integral beverage container? Count me in.
Haha! That is hilarious. Yet totally real.

Seriously though, I will be looking out for one of these.

Re: Asking for advice: How to restore a (just slightly) blunted tip?

... It is a nice thick piece of s30v. But only took about 30 mins to repair using the sandpaper method @Bearfacedkiller describes in his post. Started with 120 grit and worked up to 2000. Dropped the point a bit and shortened the blade slightly. But hardly noticeable. Looks good, great work! And TH...

Re: Victorinox photo and discussion thread!

My favorite model is the Explorer. It has an end mounted Phillips head screwdriver and a magnifier. I also prefer 4 layer SAKs to any other thickness. They seem to fit my hand perfect. Not too slim, not too big. This one pictured is one of my oldest knifes. Not age, but has been with me almost longe...

Re: Spyderco App issues

I have a similar but different issue. I’m using an iPhone XR, which has no “home” button, so to switch between active apps or go back to the home screen, you swipe up from the bottom of the screen. This is very close to the motion required to sweep open the knife at the bottom of the app, so often ...

Re: Teal S30V Dragonfly Exclusive

I would call it Cyan. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyan Yeah, it looks like Cyan a little too. Whatever it is, it looks great in person and they need to make many more models in this color! I still REALLY want some TiCN coated blades paired with this color. Yes. I think a black blade/hardware wo...

Re: Asking for advice: How to restore a (just slightly) blunted tip?

“Another post declaring to grind the spine down” I recently snapped the tip of my wolfspyder being weird and seeing if I could drill a hole into a two inch piece of picnic table wood. Before spine grind: http://i.imgur.com/EZKE7E0.jpg After: http://i.imgur.com/Bhrxjg4.jpg It is a nice thick piece of...

Re: Cannot loosen pivot screw

Use the shock method to break the bond. I've done it with several knives (including recent manufacture) and it's always worked. IIRC this is how Spyderco's W&R department does it. Lay the pivot on a block of wood or something solid that won't mess up the side that's resting on it. Insert your Torx ...

Re: Spyderco App issues

What does the spyderco app do? Does it show updates on availability of exclusives? Or when "reveals" are about to drop? It can alert you when you’re near a location that has knife restrictions(like airports). It also sends alerts when a new model is shipping to dealers. As long as you allow notific...

Re: Victorinox photo and discussion thread!

I have a serrated trekker. The serrations are quite different than anything from spyderco. Definitely not as aggressive. About like a steak knife. But still come very sharp and will push cut receipt paper/shave arm hair. They are also ground on the opposite side as most others. The non show side. ht...

Re: Victorinox photo and discussion thread!

Thanks for the pics! I did finally get connected last night. I was hoping for a re-release of the astronaut model though. :( The price for this one is actually reasonable. A stock tinker with the polispectral coating will run you $80. So that’s only a $16 premium for a very limited run. I hope they ...

Anyone else try to get the man on the moon release today? Their servers crashed I think. Been trying to connect for the last two hours. I don’t even know what model and configuration it is yet. Anyone know?

Re: Manix titanium ball bearing cage

Just as an FYI: Flytanium heard our plea and now has Ti, brass and copper Manix 2 ball cages available! I have a Ti cage on order (sadly, it's blue as they don't have natural finish available now, despite the only image being the naked Ti) and as soon as it's installed in my CruWear/CF Manix, I'll ...

Re: PM2 Red G-10 M390 at DLT Trading?!?!

This is the problem with exclusives. Clearly there is a high demand for this configuration, so after the first exclusive run, it should become a stock item. I can't believe DLT is making any money on this as they are losing sales on everything else while this continues. Pre-orders or a lottery list...
