We have "Button Lock" planned , but capacity is an issue.

What other locks would you like to see on Sages?

sal
Phantom lock would be cool. Or some kind of swivel bolster.

Re: Best Spyderco value

I always thought the Endura4 sprints and exclusives were the best values. Usually are around $100 for 4 inches of premium steel, full nested and skeletonized liners. 4 way carry options. Lightweight. And of my collection personally, the CutleryShoppe Hap40 Zome is what I consider the best value of a...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

New knife day! Meerkat and Sharpmaker were in the mail, but I don’t like posting before I get stuff from fear of jinxing anything. Thanks to KnivesPlus coming through with a good deal on the Meerkat. :spyder:

I wonder how many of the aftermarket scales would survive the same testing that Spyderco does to their own scales.
Right on! Not only that, but how many scale makers warranty their scales for life AND the rest of the knife along with them? :spyder:

Re: Cruwear Micarta PM2 Full liners

Does anyone else think that this new construction opens so many doors for the pm2 model? This could be the start of how the BACKLOCK version is done. Or a CBBL. And it is also the same style build as the Tenacious LW. And yes Pakkawood and Terotuff, but think about a Raffir Noble or Kirinite or CTek...

Re: Cruwear Micarta PM2 Full liners

posted about it on the other reveal thread. Personally this is a new direction for PM2s, but some may not like it due to the added heft. I personally would like some heft to the PM2 especially for a beater/daily use knife. EDIT: did not see the .1 oz less weight, which is surprising for full liners...

Re: Cruwear Micarta PM2 Full liners

Is everyone as excited as I am to see the new full skeletonized liner construction for this model? Eric shows it off a little and talks about it in the knifecenter video. Specs list it at 0.1oz lighter too. I can’t wait to get one in hand. :spyder: I'm not sure about the weight. Spyderco's listing ...

Re: Reveal 7 Live!

[YouTube] Thanks for posting! I never get tired of listening to Eric talk. Plus I didn’t know the Cruwear pm2 has full liners until I watched that. Just put it towards the top of my list now. The Viele Phoenix Sprint Run has a $315.00 street price for plain VG-10 and G-10! And full titanium constru...

Re: Soap causing corrosion on H1??

The ARK(Always Ready Knife) was designed for exactly that. A shower knife. To combat the number of assaults in the shower in the military. A lot of bad people plan their attack when you’re most vulnerable. The shower is probably the most vulnerable you’ll be. Plus getting the plastic off a new bottl...

Re: Knife lubricating agents

Silicone sprays typically have additives to thin them out. Who knows what those can be. According to the SDS sheet, that stuff is 88% VOC. That’s probably why we don’t have the same stuff in the US. 100% silicone oil would be much better. Those volatile organic compounds should also be in Ballistol...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

The previous owner said they paid someone else to do it. Regardless they did do a nice job. Even where the ground the bottom of the liner is polished to match the rest. I only bought this one with the cutout because the price was great and it popped up for sale. I found a brand new unmodified one f...
