Re: Your Spyderco Drawer - Show & Tell

I don’t have a drawer, but I do have a cabinet. I also like to use the clear plastic Plano and Ozark Trail cases because they are have adjustable compartments that can accommodate a lot of different size knives.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Yojimbo2. A great utility knife :spyder: [/IMG] Nice to see a dirty knife, being used instead of something pristine out of the box that anybody can own/post . Too many photos of flawless, fondle only knives lately...that **** Ikuchi in particular! Only time I've seen a pic of it used is when ...

Re: More K390?

This absolutely sounds like junk science, but as I have an open mind I will research this conspiracy theory. Also, I'm not sure I'm willing to accept the Universe's vote as they have done little if anything to produce a worthy knife. Oh, the light saber you might say, ok sure but until I can buy on...

Re: What is this on the new Spydiechef lock bar?

I’ve had 3 Spydiechefs. Date codes HQ, DR(CQI’d), and AS(CQI’d). Only the second one had lockstick. My current AS, has a small “click” when disengaging the lock. But it doesn’t stick at all. Locks up tight with no play or lockbar travel as mentioned. It’s the best of all 3.

Slow roll for me. I like a firm, smooth action. And that typically isn’t the best for flicking.

Hey, All:

... have been jokingly calling it a "Yojumbo," or a "Mo-jimbo." Don't know how Kurosawa or Mifune would feel about that...
I had thought the same thing and suggested Sanjuro.

Re: The one knife worth breaking my rule

Yes. I would think it has a place in your collection. I admire your strict convictions regarding your collection. I could not do it. But the design is so much different than anything else. It could be a unique lock type of your collection.

Not sure about the whole story behind that particular one. But David Yellowhorse is an amazing artist. His creations are legit. Not just knives either. Check out his website http://www.yellowhorsecollectibles.com

+1 for a larger version “Yojumbo”
Although, “Sanjuro” would make a great name too ;)

Re: Post up your Rit dye projects..

Hello! I'm brand new here and I have a quick question about using Rit Dye as this thread seemed to be the most appropriate. Has anyone ever tried using Tan Rit Dye? The reason why I'm asking is I'm thinking about trying it out on my gray Endura 4, but I've yet to find an example of someone using th...

Thank you! My wife says they match my DrMartens. I honestly can’t believe how easy it is to dye these jade scales. Wish I would’ve known this sooner. I'm interested in how they look with some wear and tear. I've dyed the yellow FRN Salts and eventually the dye wears down to the black again. ...
