Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
Yes, please review the brush here. And provide the full name so that I can search where to get here in Europe.
Which handle would you like?
I saw a deer horn brush that I liked in a small shop. But it was only a set and costed 400 EUR.
No thanks.

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
That's so true Doc Dan. Used my medium titanium Henson with the RK. It felt aggressive. Changed now to a feather and it's so much smoother. Overall I like the feather blades in all razors. I wanted to buy a omega brush in Italy. Asked in 10 stores. I only got a 6 EUR cheap one. The hairs are too har...

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
Unfortunately no experience with them.
I tried proraso green can now in the holidays.
Pure crap. No improved gliding what so ever. Every generic soap is better. I like the scent and mint freshness but it does not improve the shave.
Canned foam is really the worst.

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
It's not mainly saving money it's more the enjoyment and fun. It's the learning and mastering.
With DE razors you look forward to the next shave.
With cartridges not so much.
If it brings joy it may also cost something.
What to do with the money if not spending some to your own enjoyment?

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
I have a muehle silvertip. 19mm knot size, I would take the next size next time (23mm I think). I also have the travel version which is nice and a very small package. As I am minimal at travels I do not use it. My favorite brush is a Kent Infinity synthetic and a Boker synthetic. Had a badger but it...

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
Used my +++ and ++ yesterday.
++ is still my favorite.
No issues at rinsing or with the sharp corners at v1.
No need for a v2 so far.

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
v2: The handle is tapered from 12.25 mm [.482”] at the tail to 9.75 mm [.384”] near the head. Seems the handle was increased by 0,25mm. That's nothing. But maybe the dimensions are incorrect. Woodpuppy: You will get a v2? I had no issue with rinsing the v1. But I use a quite liquid lather. The +++ n...

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
Just from the design I like it. The v1 looks a bit more unique and classy. What is your opinion? I read the v2 has less suction (drag). I like that on the v1. I wish that the handle had more grip to it. Overall it's some evolution but I will use my v1 more and wait for v3/v4... I already have 4 Hens...

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
He will get a AL13 +++ in the new Design? I thought ist a limited run... I tried to shave with the +++ just some contures roughly in the evening. No prepration. I thought I'd rip of my skin. The next day after preparation no issue, very smooth. I would like to try the v2 but I ordered too many in th...

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
If you look at the corners there cannot be any support as there is no razor blade.
I think the v2 is fine.
Will you order one?

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
The design team weighed both customer feedback and test results, to introduce several enhancements to both the AL13 and Ti22 razors. Increased grip The overall diameter of the handle has been increased by 0.010”. Also, the textured portions of the handle have been made more pronounced. Both of thes...

i see only less grinding marks on the top of the head.

Re: Anyone use a safety razor?
Got my AL13 aggressive.
Loaded with a feather and used once. Needs no pressure. The low weight helps, you need to be more careful.
I need more time with it.
The AL13 medium is still my favorite.
Who else has an aggressive Henson?
What is your experience?

Re: Lol native until para 2?
For me only the dragonfly is manageable to disassemble.
All others were a big to massive pain.
You can try to find a cheap used one.
Cheap compression lock is the para 3 lightweight.
With which tools do you sharpen?
