Watch Recomendations

Hi Vincent,

As you can tell this subject can be discussed to great lengths. The Citizen Eco Drives are really amazing. I had an " Eco-Zilla " 300m pro diver that was really cool, but eventually I had to stop wearing it because it was so big and heavy. I was able to quickly sell it for what I paid ...

Watch Recomendation

Hello Vincent,

Besides being a knife nut, I also collect watches.

The Casio G Shock's are very popular and moderately priced, except for the higher end Master G series, such as the " Frogman " model. All the G Shocks are built to take any kind of abuse.

I gave my nephew a " Frogman " for a ...

In regards to ATR carry while running. I always carry my ATR when running 10k's on my training route. This is a semi-rural area and dogs and other critters can be a problem. I run year round about 3 times a week.

During an actual race in the city, such as the " Lexington Blue Grass 10 K Run ...

Thanks for the replies guys. I think that the ATR will be a very collectable knife, due to it's inherent cool factor. I only have two of them, but my son has about 6 in his collection.

One last comment about an unusual feature on the ATR is that when I run,
( 10k's ) the holes in the ATR's handle ...

ATR Dis-continuation

Hello,

I have been a knife collector for about 35 years. I have about 75 knives. I have a good assortment of Spydies, but my favorite is still the ATR.

Can someone please tell me why the ATR was discontinued ?

This knife is so revolutionary in its design and function, that I have one that I ...

Hello Sal, I am a communications technician. I live in Kentucky. I am 50 now. I have been carrying a lockblade since I was 23. I use my knife for multiple reasons, none of which is self defense. I cut and strip cable. Prepare cable connectors for installation. Open boxes and crates, scrape ...

Hello Nicky, thanks for your reply. You are right on the money. Also, correction,my knife is the Assist II knife, not the rescue II.
The 1" straight edge is just like a straight razor, no kidding. Thanks, Roger

Spyderco Edge

I live in Central Kentucky. This is Case country. I recently attended the annual knife show here. While talking to a Case knife vender, I showed him my Spyderco Rescue II. This gentleman proceded to cut many slivers in a corner of a piece of paper with my knife. The reaction I got from him was great ...

Hello Jaxon,
Have you got your new Spyderfly yet ?
You were right about most suppliers being out of stock. I am very impatient, I cancelled my order from Knife Center. They said it would be weeks till delivery. I will try to reorder when the Spyderfly is in stock and ready to ship. Who knows, maybe ...
