Show off your modded c215gp Euroedge

I'm thinking one of these will be next on my project/build list. I'm really liking how my Roc project went. So something bigger makes sense for the new build. That said, figured I would start a picture thread for modded Euroedge owners. I'm already planning acid and stone wash, custom scales ...

Re: New Roc acid/stone wash and polished G10 scales

Update time:
The Roc should be back next week. I won a Seiko diver, and decided to give it the same acid/stone treatment.

Anyone participate in any of the auctions on Facebook groups?

I got a message from my brother last week. That he had sent me an invite to a group on FB. I have a FB account, mainly to stay connected with military friends that aren't as easy to keep up with these days. So I don't participate much. But the invite was to a group called
"Pocket Dump(OEG)"
They ...

Re: Dream knife

Would LOVE to see an XL model of the Roc. Big blade and all. If weight is a consideration, titanium.

Re: Monster Roc

So I've fallen in love with the Roc. Only complaint, it could be bigger. I would love to see a Roc about double the size. What are the chances of this, and is there any avenue for requesting this kind of thing?
You might want to take a look at the RAD knives field cleaver, not sure what they cost ...

It's quite blade heavy already, so I suspect balance issues would crop up if you made ...

Re: New Roc acid/stone wash and polished G10 scales

Here's one after just 3 min in the tumbler.

I think this is the finish I'm going to stick with. The distressed finish will go better with the rest of the knife.

Re: New Roc acid/stone wash and polished G10 scales

EVIAN. The only water suitable for neutralizing acid on your spyderco blades.

Nice mod. I'd just Polish that edge up so it really POPS!!
It was just tap water. After I soak them I cover them in dawn dish soap and scrub them down.
I thought about polishing the whole thing. But that would be the ...

Re: New Roc acid/stone wash and polished G10 scales

I was going to wait until this was done to give an update. But I'm not a very patient person.
I bought 2 of these Spyderco icons for a lanyard bead. Figured I would try to acid and stone wash one. The acid turned the bronze into more of a pink/copperish color. I left it in the tumbler a little too ...

Re: New Roc acid/stone wash and polished G10 scales

So I was going to wait until I got it all back and together for an update. But I'm not one for waiting. So I'll post some pics of what I've done.

I bought 2 little lanyard beads of the Spyderco logo. They are made of bronze. I bought 2, thinking I could see what an acid dip and stone wash could do ...
