I have to say, this is quite a good looking knife. I originally thought I'd be swapping the scales but now I'm not so sure.

DLT got this to me quick. As my first time handling a Shaman, I'm gonna have to get used to a couple things, and maybe find a deep carry clip, but these scales are simply amazing.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Intentional is artificial. They could make them until they stop selling well then disco’ them like other models. Limited does not have to mean 600 or 1200, etc. Those are arbitrary limits, not limits due to lack of materials or weather conditions or whatever. We will have to agree to disagree on th...

Saw that BHQ posted a pic on IG. Are they about to drop?
They have a lottery running currently. I believe it's active until the 10th.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Anyone here got one from the DLT lottery, granted there were only 15 pieces? That one was supposed to pick winners yesterday. As JRinFL stated above, probably ever flipper in the world figured out a way to game the lottery system. It's like when I was in HS and my buddy got to shoot the half-time 3...

Re: Experiences with detent wear?

Something I've noticed on my Domino, or at least I think I've noticed, is that the detent ball is on the steel lock bar insert, which is technically replaceable. Is this a common practice? It seems like because the lock bar is serviceable then the detent ball should be as well, right?

Re: I'm reticent to buy a knife made in Taiwan.

Taichung knives are, as everyone else has said, some of the best Spyderco produces. Also, odds are high you aren't buying directly from Spyderco but using some retailer, in which case your dollars are going into the US economy anyways(assuming you're using a US based retailer).

Re: New to Spyderco! Help me pick one

As a fellow pro audio guy, my Delica gets the bulk of my work oriented pocket time. But I've been carrying my new Domino(the big brother version of the Dice) exclusively for the past week and it's held up remarkably well. I actually feel more comfortable cutting zip ties with due to the slightly thi...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

Yeah my order was also cancelled. I got an email saying that I requested the cancellation. I was thinking, no I didn't, there is no way that I cancelled it. So I spent some time with costumer service. They apologized and gave me 15 percent off my next order if I chose to order from them again. Luck...

Re: OK, it's time to get serious

Hi Andrew, Welcome to our forum. sal Thanks Sal. Can't wait to buy one of these, even though I'm not a huge fan of wharncliffe blades. Maybe I'll be a convert... I'm normally a blade with some belly guy, but as I've said, for work, actual cutting and gettin' 'er done, this blade/handle combo is so ...
