Standy99,
Thanks - I found it fun to add in some quotes from Einstein to Yogi Berra to lighten things up and find some affirmation from some other, smarter sources. Here are a few more that I have found since then:
One-half of the ills of life come because men are unwilling to sit down quietly ...

Re: Endela vs Endura4
elena86,
If the finger points on the endura handle are uncomfortable, consider taking a fine grit sandpaper to them. Even taking your time, it will likely only take a minute or so to change the tactile feel significantly. Did this with my FRN Endura and am now conflicted on whether I favor the ...

Re: Colors - Talkin' Story - Marketing
My opinion/experience is that colors make a difference as a consumer in whether a knife is purchased and the variety and quantity of knives purchased.
Realized rather late in life, in my 60's, that I did not have a really good knife and sort of wanted something survival or semi-tactical. Found ...

Re: Endela K390 in Blue
Endela arrived yesterday and in my non-expert opinion the quality is Outstanding!
Solid fit and finish and the opening-closing action out of the box is smooth/precise/crisp.
Really really sharp edge. Blade perfectly centered.
Blade was coated with a light lubricant and box included some info that ...

Re: Sal, Can We Form A Collective, And Order An Exclusive?
For a business approach, what about partnering with one of the retailers that perhaps already does exclusives instead of trying to work with Spyderco directly. The established company would have the business entity to do business with Spyderco, all of the other functions to make it happen ...

Re: Endura 4 handle mod
Thanks for the tip! What worked for me was a couple of minutes with some 600 sandpaper to remove the 'pointyness' / sharpness of the points. Not even sure I can tell the difference in the profile visually. The hump is not gone at all, just has less of a 'digging into my skin' feeling. Also have an ...

Re: custom shop...
In my opinion there could be a strong market for some models with multiple variations in features - blade shape, scales, steels, DLC etc.
There is a strong industry for aftermarket car parts, many of which are purely cosmetic. Heck, even the gun manufacturers are starting to have 'modular' models ...

Re: Endela paradigm shift!
Endela supporter here. Have an Endura, several Delicas (and a couple of larger models) and find that the Endela is the best feel/fit for my not large hands. Waiting on some frn colors (purple) and perhaps some other steels to get (at least) a 2nd one.

Thank you sir!
My specific individual request would be for an Endela in Purple FRN. FFG plain edge.
VG-10 is fine for my purposes but am open to trying one of the other steels.
A black DLC blade (and even black screws) on the purple handle would also be really ...

Re: Waiting for colors
Totally respect your approach, but just out of interest: You really NEVER used those knives? So you don´t know how they behave in use, how they slice and so on?
Have never even cut a piece of paper with the PM2 or Para3.
It's crazy and I don't have a logical justification for how I fell ...
