It has an awsome weight to it and feels very good. I will be ordering a second one in the very near future ...

Do they honestly have them In stock or are they preorder only?

Im doing some comparisons between the two...I love both designs but id like to know exactly how good each one really is. I've owned plenty or Spidies and two Emmersons LOL. But any suggestions would be great....and of course pictures of the knives by themselves and in hand would be great <img src ...

I dont own any recurves the ones I've had the pleasure to play with were friends blades not my own.
However his knives are sharpened similar to my own. On a Lansky setup, that thing is easy as pie and does a damned good job !

Ive only messed with the Comander and the benchmade mchenry williams (I believe) it has a slight recurve and cuts pretty much anything I tossed at it.

I use my lansky with my gatco diamond stones...then the lansky ultra fine stone for final once over...the combo gives me a razors edge (yes i can shave with it) and that knife is awsome (My Military) Ive owned it for about 1.5 years and only tossed it ont he lansky one time for a major sharpening ...

I own plenty from both companys and my favorite BM to date is the origanal Emerson extra large (975) I believe it was. And currently Im enjoying my BM model 42mc Im waiting on the Spyderfly for now <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
but to be 100% honest I love BOTH ...
