Used it harder then I normally would. Still no clips or rolls.
I am more and more impressed with this steel.

Re: Oleg Krymlin (mule) Scales and Sheath mini-review
Update :
Used my mule /Oleg in the woods a few days and EDCd it a day.
Scales are just fine.No blisters. No problems.
I did round off the sharp edges of the metal handle in advance.Took 5 mins.
Also smoothed the thumb ramp a bit.

Re: MT22P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with RWL 34
Used this for a full day convex.Much better. Not to start a war here but : I think most of those that do not like convex edges have never owned or used one. or not a proper one. From my years of use/testing I have found all V typed edges much more chippy/rolley and lose sharpness faster.I use a Work...

The good, bad and ugly: Beware, truth . Long-ish Just got back from my trip. I know this knife is not the best size/shape/design for all tasks. I wanted to test it. I processed 8 total fish.Again this is not the right tool for the job,I was able to get meat out. I would say 50-ish% as effecient a pr...

Re: EDC and the general public
I got 3 PM, will just answer here;
The Mini Aurora is not big and heavy by any means,Just compared to the backpacker.Bit less bulky then the mule with scales.
haha right on Train.

Re: EDC and the general public
Op worried about a Dellica 4 in his pocket? Today at Costco I wanted to cut my hotdog. I neck carry my RWL 34 mule. I took it out from under my T shirt and cut away.Got 1 strange look. Walked over to the counter and asked the nice lady if she could run the blade under the faucet for a sec. She did w...

Oleg Krymlin (mule) Scales and Sheath mini-review
Short version: Oleg Krymlin Scales and shealth are cheap. 1/2 or 1/3 (cost) of others I looked at. I wanted a small custom mod, he did it NP at all free. Took a bit longer to get here then expected as he is 25 miles away. Not a big deal.I expected 1-2 days. Took a week-ish. Talked to him on phone, su...

Re: Mule Team 22 RWL-34 Testing/Review
How tough is this ?
Anyone have real world test /use on this mule yet?
By "use" I mean NOT just opening mail and cutting veggies.
Any chip or roll issues?
Everyone I have spoken with seems to only collect and never use these as tools.

Re: MT22P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with RWL 34
So, some time has passed. For those that actually use and not just collect : What are thoughts on this RWl 34? How would users and testers rate the toughness at this RC? What does it act like? Any chipping or rolling issues with actual use? As my edge last and lasts,I assume RC is high.Usually this m...
