Re: Spyderco and Abel join forces
Abel has a lot of loyal followers/collectors and those people pay top dollars for their anodized art. They truly are art pieces. I have several of their reels, but none that have the anodized art as they are out of my play money range. Would love to splurge on one someday.

Spyderco and Abel join forces
Not sure if this has been posted. I have always like the anodized fish scales Abel places on their reel. They do it again with Spyderco's Native 5. https://abelreels.com/products/fishing-tools/abel-native-5.html?utm_source=Abel+Reels%E2%84%A2+Newsletter&utm_campaign=bd832d6848-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_201...

Re: Bought my son his first knife for his birthday
I knew my son was finally ready after years of teaching him to respect both knives and firearms. He gets that there's a time and place for them. That they must be respected.
He wants to grow his collection. He's been eying my chubby. I might have to hide my spydies. Lol

Bought my son his first knife for his birthday
For sometime now my son has been asking for a knife. For his birthday he wanted to Bass Pro so he can check out knives. Not my first choice for places to buy or selections, but it where he wanted to go. Of course he wanted to handle every knife they had and in the end he went with a Spyderco Tenacio...

Knife suggestion for carving
I want to carve small totems (animals) out of blocks of wood no bigger than 2"x2". I like to get suggestions on Syderco knives that I should consider for the task.

Re: Paramilitary collection
You can't be married. Each purchase I make I have to either add to the honey do list or break her resolve not to let me buy more toys. Either way it ages me considerably. lol
Great collection you have there. :spyder:

Chubby arrived
Come home from work today and my wife handed me a delivery package. :)
It's a great little knife. Very well built. Blade has no play. Feels very substantial in hand. FYI, the clip will bite you if your not careful removing the knife from your pocket.

Re: Chubby has landed
Congratulations on your purchase. I've been eyeing that knife since several etailers have marked down the price. Today I pulled the trigger. I hope am as pleased as you once I have it in hand.
