Thanks, they are extremely functional on the manbug. the thickness of the lanyard lets you get a four finger grip on the knife.Bloke wrote:Very nice little landyards! :)ZrowsN1s wrote:manbug.jpg

Re: Exotic Japanese steels
How about a solid slab of HAP-40 on a dragonfly with g10 scales, and the stretch with g10 scales? The Hap 40 should be in standard production, my hap 40 Dfly is one of my favorite knifes already and i haven't even had it a year yet. Also I carry knives for self defense, there aren't many of those wi...

Re: Manbug Salt
for anyone that hasn't seen a side by side. I love my hb ladybug, but the manbug has got just a little more substance to it, a slightly bigger punch in about the same size package. Glad Sal is considering an mb in h1. SE would be the way to go though right?

Re: "I would buy a new Yojimbo 2 Sprint with....???"
Honestly I'd like one in ZDP-189 or a solid slab of hap 40. But I don't see much chance of those steels being used in Golden.

Re: How Stainless is S110V?
Hello all, I just got my first S110V knife a PM2, (very nice knife) for all the qualities you mention. Is sharpening that difficult? I set the bevel on a ZDP Manbug with a Lansky and med and fine diamonds recently and finished with Arkansas and it wasn't difficult. What I'd like to ask is, how does...

The more i think about it, the more i want the Yojimbo 2 to have the new MAXAMET steel. You put that steel on there, i don't care what color the g-10 is, i'll buy 2.

Re: "I would buy a new Yojimbo 2 Sprint with....???"
I've been petitioning for DLC since the Yojimbo 2 came out. I doubt it'll ever happen unless a dealer commissions one. I'll be honest- this model is crying out for a black blade model like the PM2. An all black Yo2 would be a winner. This! I would dig a DLC all black Yojimbo 2, and it would be fitt...

Re: "I would buy a new Yojimbo 2 Sprint with....???"
Seemed like the longest time you couldn't even find a G10 production model. I seem to remember Janich saying they halted production while he was working for BlackHawk. Now that he is back with the Spyderco Team Yojimbo's are easier to come by. Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm for a Yo2 Sprint...

Re: There could be a Paramilitary 2S
you could always hunt down a yojimbo 1. They were specifically designed to be under 3 inches. also kahr arm delica is 2.5 inch. And although it's not a spyderco product, i feel the Emerson "Snubby" is worth mentioning, if you live somewhere with blade length restrictions.

Re: Sharpening advice-blade chip
Hi Studey, what do mean by received area? Do you mean receded? I would just reprofile the entire edge so it's uniform from heel to tip. HAP40 is relatively easy to work with in my experience, it's not s110v or zdp. I'd throw it on that wicked edge. farnorthdan is correct, if you have a wicked edge ...

Re: "I would buy a new Yojimbo 2 Sprint with....???"
Blurple g10 s110v Boar-gen I already have a s110v blurple knife, that seems to be the most popular idea so far though, and Spyderco is already geared to go on those materials, and if they made one i'd buy it, but i hope for a sprint run of something unique. (they should totally make an s110v standa...

Re: "I would buy a new Yojimbo 2 Sprint with....???"
Yo2 were hard to find because Golden couldn't keep up at the time I believe. The Yo2 was designed after Janich came back, but Yo1 was before he left. At least, I'm pretty sure that's how he explained it in his video. you are probably right. I don't remember exactly. heres the link to his video. Evo...

vivi, if you go to you tube you can see Michael Janich's video the evolution of the yojimbo 2, he designed the knife with spyderco, in the video he talks about why he designed it the way he did.

I've got an idea, i see that they are coming out with a new mule team. a "Maxamet" Yojimbo 2 would make me happy.
