Hi guys. I currently have a trade going on at BF of a Blue Spyderco Native Shell inlay, number 493 of 500, for a Spyderco Para-military AND another knife, preferably the Spyderfly or the Titanium Salsa.

Nope. I posted here the same time I posted over at BladeForums and KnifeForums. Didn't realize Spark had banned me.

I DID try to trade the knives first over on BladeForums. Check the date of the posts if interested.

I'll see if I can try to reason with Spark. I've never really made any trouble ...

Thanks Spyderholic! I eagerly await your info. regarding the Temperance. I wish you guys start producing them soon, 'cause I can't even get a trade for one of the limited production models!

Thank you,

Vesuvius v. Temperance and in lock strength...(Sal?)

I was curious as to the design of the compression lock on both of these models.

I understand that the Temperance is branded as one of the three MBC knives out there, and that a requisite for MBC-rated lock strength is a minimum of 200 pounds per inch of blade.

My two questions are:

1) Even ...

Temperance Jr....

Hello Sal and everyone involved in Spyderco, as well as all you fellow Spydie fans.

I have recently read some threads which suggested that the Temperance Jr. was already in production and should be ready to ship soon...at least for collectors first (you lucky bastids!). I was wondering if you ...

Hey guys, any of you know what's up with the banning of Bram and Bob Taylor over at Bladeforums?

Here's the post I'm referring to, made of course by Mike Turber:

Until further notice both Bram Frank and Bob Taylor are no longer moderators here.

Oh yeah, by the way, go with the plain edge on either knife. Combo edges are useless, since they interrupt the cutting action and become a nuisance. Trust me, you won't regret it in the long run. If you want serrated edges, get the full serrations in a knife which is designed to cut efficiently with ...

I recommend that you get the Starmate. The "non-smooth" opening you experienced is not true of all models produced, since mine came with silky-smooth opening. The blade shape is beautiful, and is perfect for tactical/utility purposes. The handle is a more iffy subject, since it's either a love/hate ...

Aaargh! The tip of my Zytel Native broke!!!...

Yesterday I take out my Zytel Native and open it to discover...the tip broke! I never even noticed that it did, and I have never used the knife to pry stuff. I also don't remember having it fall open tip-first to the floor, although I DO remember it falling sideways a few times. Who knows, maybe the ...

Arrgh! I can't take it any longer! I must post the Native list!!!

Reasons for picking this Native (once again spreading the Native gospel!):

1) Blade is 3 1/8", which is within legal-limit in most places (alright it's not 3", but difference is negligible). This assures you have the biggest you can ...

I'll have #7 or #9, please. I wonder...do you have any control whatsoever on picking the number? Do we order through phone or website? If through phone, what's the phone number?

I wanna be in the Collectors Club!!!

I understand that you have to call a certain number, which I possess, to become part of this club. I can already see an important benefit...getting first picks on new knives! What I want to know is, what are the benefits and costs of joining this club?

Anxiously awaiting an answer from Sal,
