Re: First knife for new Marine
As a Marine I was extremely hard on my knives. I have bent more tips and broken more scales than I can remember. I would go with the N5 for a small edc blade so if he uses it as a prybar, shovel, screwdriver, ect... it might have a better chance of surviving. I am not saying your son would do this o...

Re: Any online store owners lurking? Here's an idea
There are times throughout this thread that I think The Gringo is the only person who "got" my OP. Never ever never were combo edges mentioned. I said commission a 1200 piece run of Cruwear PM2's and make 300 or so of them SE. Anyone who does not think that the 300 super exclusive pieces ...

Re: Fishing Gear question
Hey everyone here into fishing: Periodically I see these "survival fishing reels" and emergency fishing kits for sale in survival, military surplus, and outdoor catalogs. If a person did not want to get an all-out rod and reel set and all that, and decided to go on a fishing trip and use ...

Re: Any online store owners lurking? Here's an idea
It seems the one thing many people dislike more than SE blades are Combo edge blades. I'm not so sure these would sell like hotcakes. I would say, it's a PM2, so it doesn't matter. However, with the orange and black PM2 still available from CS almost 4 months later, I'm not so sure on that either. ...

S90V cladded?
So I am looking through my 2016 Spyderco product guide wishing I had more liquid assets and I come to the sprint run page. Now I am trying to decide which Military to get, I only really want one, but I want it to be a **** good one. I don't know anything about 52100 steel and I was about todo some r...

Re: spyderwolf...?
A low thick sabergrind is generally not my cup of tea, but it is definitely an interesting design I thought this was a scandi? The product guide calls it a scandi and if Ray Mears had any say, I am willing to bet it is a true scandi. I hope it really is a scandi though, otherwise my interest fades.

Re: spyderwolf...?
This is one I am interested in as well. I want to see how it works vs some other scandi grinds I have for wood processing. At worst I will through it in my day pack as a backup knife. Edit: I heard (don't know for sure) that it will sold only through company in the UK. If this is true it might price...

Re: Starting over?
I only have about 20 Spydies and I am not really a collector unless you count someone who collects users to be a collector. All my knives are users, I don't have any safe queens or bnib knives. Going forward I will probably only get sprints or exclusives, unless a production knife just speaks to me ...

Re: Yo2 blurple S110V?
The P'Kal and Yo2 are still on the fence with regard to S110V. Because they both have such acute points, Sal and Eric want to make sure the designs are appropriate for that steel. And, yes, the P'Kal is still being produced, as is its trainer. Still no word on a Yo2 trainer... Stay safe, Mike Thank...

Re: Hap40 Poll
Have a HAP40 Stretch on pre-order at KC. Now that I mention it though, how are KCs pre-orders? Do you always get what you pre-order? Or if I get a chance should I get a HAP40 Stretch on my own and cancel the pre-order? I am not a fan of cancelling pre-orders but if I run the risk of not getting what...
