Re: What if...
I was just thinking this the other night. I'd like to see a full tang manix xl in 4V or M4 and the idea of a fixed Dragonfly is cool too, maybe H1 SE.

PayPal doesn't need to find him. They handled the transaction, they're perfectly able to return your money, especially if he's not verified anymore.endgame wrote:Yes I tried everything PayPal cant even find him

Re: My first Manix 2!!
Its not going to break .this rumor makes me laugh.what would you be doing to test the strength of the lock were it would break a metal bearings cage and cut youre fingers? the only motion I can think of would be stabbing.are you going to stab things.lol all other motions of the knife in hand push t...

Re: My first Manix 2!!
I think the BB lock is probably the strongest one spyderco makes but the new power lock and frame locks are probably just as strong or stronger. Many people say the Axis lock is really strong and the BB I would think is stronger being a solid steel ball as opposed to a steel rod that has all the str...

Re: Spyderco ATR: WOW!
I have two, a titanium and stainless plain edge. Like rescueseven said, the action is silky smooth with zero play. They are not very ergonomic at all, but they are very interesting. I love the lock. I'm not a fan of stainless scales/handles. At all. But I did receive my first ATR today (SS/SE) and ...

Re: The Double Bevel
It's a cool knife and I'd like to have one one day but it's one of those I want to handle first. Sharpening seems to be the tricky part not only because of the two grinds but the tanto style blades take longer too.

Re: Post your Spyderco collection in one picture!
Here are almost all of my spydies except a MT18 that's off getting the handles fixed. I've slimmed down my collection quite a bit in the recent weeks to knives that I really want to have rather than ones I tried and thought were okay. The right side row is all carbon fiber. Sorry for the terrible ce...

thank you Noah and SFO
I received a stainless ATR in the mail today from a deal.i made over the weekend and was pretty disappointed there wasn't a clip with it considering it's a unique clip and from a long discontinued design. I called SF0 fully expecting them to say they didn't have any available but when Noah came back...

Re: Got this comming from roman at custom spyderco.com
Good luck getting this resolved, I'd give it a couple more days before filing a claim, stuff does come up even if you're a small business owner. A little off topic but does anyone know if this the same Roman that runs the big spyderco trade page on Facebook? I don't think it's the same person on Fa...

Re: Mule Team 21
Would the new 4V mule be an okay choice for a paracord or leather wrap though not being stainless? With pinned or screwed on scales you can oil the tang to prevent corrosion before putting the scales on but if the paracord got wet at all it would hold moisture pretty well I'd imangine and cause rust...

My mule 21 came in the mail today, not sure what I'll do for scales yet. I have some stabilized buckeye burl I think im going to try on this one but I would love a nice, contoured micarta handle too.

Re: couple questions: mule and ATR
A checkering file is what you're looking for. They make a lot of different ones. Brownells offers a few. I thought about using one but the two things I'm concerned with is the blade tang being harder than the relatively soft stainless or aluminum of the 1911's that the files are normally used on an...
